The Brits are really lacking a competent heavy tank which is capable of reliably engaging other enemy armour.

Fireflies are good at taking down other tanks yes, but they are paper thin, and cant engage infantry.

Churchill's can take a nice beating and engage infantry, but are useless against anything bigger than a half track - Apart from the Mk. 6, but only then is competent against PIV's.

US Has access to the Pershing, Whermacht has access to the Tiger, King Tiger and Panther, PE has access to the Panther and Jagdpanzer (Although that having less effectiveness against infantry, but makes up for that in sheer speed, anti tank, and survivability).

Haha again,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M3_GMC for the allies. It's an m3 with a howitzer gun on top, it'd be like a light version of the priest with more speed.

The problem with the brits getting heavy tanks is that they didn't really do heavy tanks. The churchill is the heavy tank of the brits but it's not really heavy.

You could go with the Challenger but thats basically the firefly.

This could be fun.

or

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centurion_tank

even though the centurion was a prototype and didn't really  hit british service until after the war.

The Archer might be fun

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Black Prince? - Could be cool. Albeit simple - not much variety available when it comes to the bigger British tanks, they made most their tanks for fast deserts operations or slow infantry support.

Archer is definitely nice looking, would add a whole new twist to playing as Allies, since they currently lack any self-propelled guns.

A jeep with the 50 cal. Also it should have the same armor and hp as the bren carrier.

I suggested it for FoF, but ill suggest here too.
This would fit a sort of heavy mortar description for PE, someone was asking for.

Take a Hotchkiss Stuka, make it fire a stuh shell at a higher angle, slower shell travel time, about 2/3 the range of a mortar halftrack and make it highly inaccurate versus anything far away from it.Also, give it a long cooldown, maybe 15-30sec between each shell. It would be a fun arty piece and great versus buildings.

no jeep with better gun, thats goodbye to all mortars, nebels, paks and everything else.

also, think what would happen if you start with 12 of those 50 cal jeeps.

Then 1 up gunned puma would kill them all, or 1 P4 would roll on and waste them.

What I was thinking of was a jeep with the bren's armor, speed, LoS, and hp BUT with a 50 cal. I don't know how good or bad this would be, but I was thinking of this to be like a HMG bren carrier of the americans. Obviously there would be a price difference from this jeep and the regular jeep.

How about a variation on the rifle squad, where they come with anti-air capability and fire similarly to an ostwind?
