commandos are very powerful if you know how to use them
they work perfectly using triage centers of teammates or CCS
you just don't have to overextend them and shouldnt drop them into the combat alone....
it looks just like some commando players (including myself) just use zeal+british grid+op bren tommies instead of commandos
but that doesnt mean commandos are weak...vetted bren tommies are just OP

The sad thing is that storms and schirms are 3, not 4.

I think they are rangers with SMGs without the Zooks...
Honestly, The are not worth it. 100Mu is the number and Pool amount limits spam not pricing so much anymore or a combination of the two.
They are very limited. With all of the light vehicles in the game, The rangers or the Falshims have a better chance with the AT, Commandos are a pure anti infantry.
It seems commandos pay a premium to drop anywhere on the map, But at the same time AB or Falls don;t seem to pay that... PLus the Glider and the exit time for more then 1 squad makes them extreamly vulnerable.
I don;t see anyone use them and even as there are n buffs except the smoke reduction and sight... They should get some defensive buffs, Maybe More health or reduced supression.

MP40s volks are terrible on the move, have less hp and worse armor type, has no grenade nor smoke.
They're not remotely comparable. Commandos are vastly superior and more expensive compared to mp40 volks.

Schirms lose to rangers or if the commandos can smoke in and nade them.
Commandos will beat any other infantry 1v1 as long as they have smoke.

Volks never win if the conditions are remotely equal. Yes if the volks are behind green cover and the commandos charge through a river the volks might win.

Volks... Availble to 3 commaners... Commandos.. To 1...
Cost... Makes 2 Volks squads worth it to fight 1 commando.
Add assult and you just beat the commando squad....

I never bought commandos again after they died in 1v1 on open field vs vet 0 fg42 falls. They are definietly overpriced, same as rangers imo, they are only great with vet, but since vet is going to be nerfed, price should be toned down.

ive never actually found a problem in using my commandoes, i use them as a drop behind mortar and hmg spams, i also use them against infantry lines. I use 1 platoon of 2 in my company.
After they have killed their target i retreat to my own lines using smoke.
Then after that ill have like 4/5 guys in each squad so i use them to tip the balance in fights which my tommies are in. In straight fights tommies seem to outperform Commandoes due to the bren.
BUT
the costs associated with commandoes force me to only use 2 squads of them, id like more so i can use some in the lines but the 4 pool costs mean if i did id have 4 squads and 4 piats and a tiny number of piats, rather than 6 piats and 2 commandoes plus 7 tommies and 2 sappers.
maybe a drop in pool to 3 and munitions to 100-130 this allows for the obligatory grenade purchase.
