Would it be too much to ask to get all 3 of the current skin packs stickied so everyone has easy access to them? (Mine, Deamon's, and Mals)
With all the new players joining up im sure they would like to make their coh look more appealing.

The KT im still getting permission for, but i think it blends well
The tiger tho, the first one was too green with no definition, this one is too autumn but the artwork is stunning, and this is supposed to be a summer scheme. Idk, i think it works ok, especially along side the panther, ostwind and gechutz, but it might be too brown..
Opinions, I want them Naow!

There's only one tiger i know of like that, and it's on an ACE model, so you will next to never see it in game. Plus orange/black/white scheme just says "bomb me" i dont know why anyone would paint their tank that.
@ deadbolt, the 007 ACE model on the right is supposed to be an exact replica of the tiger that Michael Wittman was killed in. The tiger's tactical number was in fact 007 which was just fuckin boss! So i had to include it, and it's not changing.

The tanks look awesome. I like the Green color on the 007 Tiger. I think that would work very well in the game.
The detail on the KT is great, but you may be right about the brown, though Im not sure what other color you could use that would highlight the details as well. Maybe its not the brown thats the issue... whats the other color... Tan? Perhaps make the tan more gray, that would lessen the visual impact of the brown.
Are there directions for downloading and getting these into EiR and/or vCoH?

I just compile the skins into a format that we can use. I dont make them.
Sooo, im kinda limited soley by whats out there available.
The green tiger in the picture is actually a Tiger ACE, not the normal tiger, the normal tiger is the brown one.
My old one was a variation of the green one, but it was far less detailed than the ACE but i used it anyways.
I would love to get the 007 to be used as the normal tiger but its not possible.
Also, instructions and the link are in the first post, but it's due for an update today or tomarrow as soon as i have permission from the new authors to use some of the skins.
When that happens, the pictures will be updated to current in game skins.

I downloaded, extracted, and put the ExternalSkinPack.sga in the ...\EiR\Archives folder.
How does EiR know to use those skins? Is the name "ExternalSkinPack.sga" a reserved name for alternate skins that CoH checks for?
Can I use the same .sga in vCoH?

the Europe in ruins module is designed to recognize the skin pack sga file, and when it sees one in the archives folder it uses those skins in the .sga file over the normal skins in the retail art.
Unfortunately its alittle more complicated to get reskinned models into retail. It doesnt recognize the externalskinpack.sga file like EIR does, so you have to modify the games origonal art.
Poke around relic news. Theres an application called "the skin installer" that will automatically overwrite your art file to include a custom skin. Just make sure you have a clean copy of your ww2art.sga on your PC because you wont be able to patch CoH with the modified skins active.
