I think this has to be some kind of bug, but these things do only about 5% damage to a building. It doesn't make any sense M8s do more damage to a building i believe. hellcats should be doing the same amount of damage to a building as an ATG or m-10.

Bug Posting Guidelines

3. No "I think" reports

If you are going to report a bug make sure the bug actually exists. Saying "I think this is a bug, but I'm not too sure", maybe it was a balance change released in the last patch" is a good way to get your bug ignored.

Building damage is based on two things as far as I can tell. Damage dealt, and area of effect. Since it has basically no area effect damage, well, you just put small holes in it.

Yeah the area damage the weapon does plays a large role in it. You can get lucky and knock a corner off a building(massive damage to it) or you can get a weapon that will blast apart half the building and two corners instead. You can theoretically use really small munitions to knock down buildings because regardless of the buildings HP's you can clear out enough fouindation it collapses. Hell you could even use gliders and they have no explosive properties

AT guns dont have any area of affect and they do a great job of knocking down buldings, ditto 50mm, and Marders.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Tym, ATGs ONLY do massive damage if the shot takes it through a corner or other structural support.

You can also shoot ATGs at buildings and do almost no damage. Hell, you can run tanks into the corners to weaken the building too.
