One of the biggest problems with playing this mod for noob players is actually getting a game after going though all the process of getting set up to play.  This is primarily because of players who either won't join games with noobs (unless they are the opponents of course), won't ready up if noobs join them in a game or tell noobs to leave when they do join their game.

Relic deals with outright with automatch which we all know how that works.  If you don't like your team mate then drop and take a loss.  Which defeats the purpose of not playing with noobs just to pad your wins.  I hoped after this most recent wipe some of that would go away but already guys like ArmoredCompany are at it again (currently 12 and 3 record).

My proposal is that the games be set so that once they are full all the players MUST start the game or else take a loss in order to force it.  However those who didn't force (i.e. noobs) should get a draw.  This is the closest thing this mod can get to automatch because it would cut back on guys joining and leaving games when noobs join or sitting there waiting on the right players and telling noobs to get out.

If you have a friend you want to play with on the other hand then both of you join the game at the same time and you are all set.

that would probably increase smurfing and griefing....if you force people to ready up against people they don't want to play against..lol

Actually you'd be surprised.  Most of the games I've seen ArmorCompany in have been against good players.

I dont think its the stacking that bugs him wild.  Most new players just want to play.  So, he's trying just to get games going.

Kind of like first come first serve.

You make it sound like less new players would rather wait hours to play.

ArmorCompany plays against everyone, with everyone - your claims of him stacking and bashing noobs are absolutely unbased, and assumed out of thin air.

There will be a game-creation change soon, but the OP has given some ideas on how to handle 'forces' or locked games after its done.

Cheers!  (Even if my babble makes no sense!)

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Tbh the threat of a loss on an EiR:R account is less frightening than that of on vCoH. It's veterancy, PP and XP that is more important to players.

We might just end up in a situation where such players refuse to ready up, or if are forced to play by whatever system, just surrender and not call in units, or just fight to gain vet and not to bother winning.

Canon ball is actually beating Good players.(gimmick companies but a Win is a Win) And I've seen him warn a few new players off into other games. You can't base a personality on W/L ratios. I mean look at Two, He's a total dick and his W/L sucks

I think we should all refrain from naming and shaming before it turns into another 'one of those' threads Smiley.
