Sniped a PE clowncar a handful of times last game and when I looked at the replay, noticed that the shots never killed any assault grens riding in the back.

This is not the same as retail. You can snipe units in infantry halftracks and if there's 2 units in the HT, then 2 guys get sniped.

Not saying I want 2 guys to get shot, but there should be some damage to these units inside if they get sniped

We removed that, units inside IHTs don't receive splash damage, but AFAIK snipers do snipe units inside them.

are bangbuses ever gonna get it so that flame damage hurts the guys inside ? I think it should be reimplemented for the carriers, so you can counter bangbuses with flammenwerfer hts

agreed.

Stuff inside transports should get burned. they are mobile. nothing stopping the transport from running away, but it will act as a deterrant for tough kangaroos

The problem is, if I recall, if damage is allowed, all damage goes through.

So you have men in transports dying to splash, grenades, hmgs, mortars, etc.

look, if Relic can get this shit to work, I'm sure you wizards can figure it out.  It was fine in vcoh...flames hurt the guys inside, tank shells don't.  What changed?  The armor obviously, anything else?  Without looking at the code, I can't help you, but I'm sure its not impossible...but I realize its very low priority unfortunately, so no worries if its a serious hassle...

That's because relic DIDN'T figure it out. Tank shells gibbed men, RR shots insta-gibbed literally entire squads... It just didn't work - not in vCoH, not in EIRR.

Yea, myst, actually you're wrong.  In vCOH, Tank shells don't do shit to units inside halftracks.  Neither do RR's.  The units took dmg if the halftrack they were in exploded, but not until then...

I've played Automatch as well Crazy, not less than a month ago. I played PE and attempted a nice little HT rush on a US player. Was nice when the AB got their RRs and guys started flying out the HT like crazy.

Making units inside Inf HTs take damage again is probably an undesirable nerf either way.
The 'vCOH' PE faction just doesn't work in EIR.
