Well I was hoping for earlier, but we ran into a few things that are really time consuming to correct. We currently have two of the doctrines 100 percent complete and the other 2 are around 75 percent. The balance patch is about 90 percent done. We could release a incomplete patch today, or wait a few days and have everything 100 percent done and tested. I opted for the second option, since I didn't want to release with anything untested.

I apologize we couldn't get the patch out earlier, but I can post the images of the doctrines later today.

Actually, we are going to release two doctrines today, including the balance patch. Then the next two doctrines will be released on either Sunday or Monday. The rest of today will be spent on testing the current patch. That would probably be better than waiting for it all to be complete.

I havent played with doctrines in EIR yet since I only got this mod for about 3 weeks, but that Armor Doctrine looks really strong.

lol, well dont underestimate that defensive doctrine.

All of those accuracy bonuses, and sight bonuses, ontop of x2 mines for 25 munis, and moving cloaked paks, and double schrecks, defensive will take those super armor units and turn them into scrap

edit 3 fuckin calcluator... it's high tho.

edit, lol @ Omnisence+advance warning+advance optics gives your average volks squad 58.8m in sight.

can you say ever infantry unit having the LOS larger than a bike? Nothing will ever sneak up upon you and that's an incredible advantage.

i hope they dont stack

I think their designed to stack. 2 of the 3 buffs are just straight up LOS buffs, the 3rd one is a precentage

Edit, ok, somethings wrong with my phone calculator, but i did the math on different calculators and it came to 58.8

The old defensive had Advanced warning +10% Optics +10% and Omniscience +40%.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Also, it says "awareness" not detection.

It probably gives vehicles a "vampire HT" type minimap awareness radius, but it's small, your pretty much tripping over the stormtroopers even though you'd be able to see the blips on the minimap.

In 1-2 days we will probably release Engineers and Tank Hunters. Then next weekend we hope to have 4 more doctrines out. Some work has already been done on those doctrines, but realistically it might take a bit longer than that. Everyone is working hard and doing their best, but problems come up and things take longer than expected.

hmm, why such uneven numbers for the spotting. +7, +11, +6 and with the awareness, if that's like the muni ht, basically, you're seeing things on the mini map, within the jeeps and light vehicle LOS that you can't even see on the ground yet. Very interesting.

Can we have all docs posted? Tongue Since if your only guna reset with first patch, people will want to choose a doc to work for instead of waiting to see which they want, meaning they will be behind the guys picking armour/defensive.

Will the AP or HE rounds cost anything? Using fully stocked, does it mean that Shermans and M18s will have free smoke and hawkins mines? Will on board mechanic allow the tank to move at full speed and will repair kits still cost the same?

HE and AP rounds will be free on cooldown. Fully stocked does not give free uses. Onboard is exactly like old onboard.

Doctrines aren't fully finalized until when the ability is implemented.
