Lionel, I have to disagree with you on it being hilarious. On-map arty shells from allies do enough damage (and splash). That one-shotting tigers deal was ridiculous.

It's a great offmap, actually - random, but great.

It does have immense scatter - all of the shells land in completely random places, though around a certain "radius" to where you dropped it. In fact, what lionel said leads me to believe he has no idea of how the offmap actually works.
