Its still the same. They arnt sniping tanks any better its all just luck, and tankbusters are easily kiteable. A M18 possibly a m10 could kite a shrek squad.

Umm.. yeah. There's always been a discount on the 2x Schreck combo (for good reason!), and even Storms get a discount on their double Schreck upgrade. I even talked to o4b, and he said it got overlooked with the recent Schreck price reduction, and should be fixed eventually. It's clearly a bug that got overlooked. |

Why is 2x Schrecks suddenly not getting a price reduction? I makes no damn sense two have the second Schreck cost the same as the first, especially as it requires a doctrine unlock just to access them. |

Yeah. At first I figured that it'd play into my company very well, and that there'd be a synergy between all my doctrine selections (Defensive/HP/Accuracy buffs + Scopes + Double Schrecks = unstoppable AT Grens, right?), and that my MP40 Volks would now be able to pack a bit more of a punch when assaulting. I was wrong on both accounts.
-Schrecks suck too much and are too much of a liability to pay full price for a second one on a single Grens squad. That, and it just makes no sense to have them be full price for two.
-Of the two purchasable nades (the Wehr one and the Ami one) Equipment Surplus gives you the higher price for the shorter range with the lesser damage on the worse platform. What sense does that make?
Even running a doctrine/battalion that would best buff/support/encourage the use of Equipment Surplus, I can say that it's a total waste. I have since removed my double-Schreck Grens, and replaced them with two PaKs (for virtually the same cost!), and have been much more satisfied with that.
Any of the Def T1s are more useful than ES, and even For the Fatherland (which is almost completely worthless itself) is a better pick.

Awesome to hear. i finally used shreks for the first time in months. and was not surprised how much they failed.
1. couldnt ever get in range
2. Kited and easily loosing half the squad in 1 shot
3. Missed religiously
4. Damage was shit!, frontal shot on sherman and it only took away a tick of health
all of this can be reverted when buying a cheaper alternative. a Pak.
