What's plan after the launcher is released?

Will it stay free to play?Tongue   Monthly fee would scare me off.


League of legends from the makers of Dota have the cash shop where you can buy items for ingame currency and real money, so maybe this is an option?

At one point I thought of suggesting that you CAN BUY Reward units with real money.

Then I thought about Copyright and so on. Would it be fair if you earned money with things made by other people? It wouldn't work that way...unless they were things EIRR Community made themselves.

Bit OT but what about some unlockable units for donaters?  As in, there's a list of units you can get, after you donate a certain amount of money, or maybe if you're a regular donater or something.  These don't have to be some new overpowered unit or anything, just something cool that people will say "hey that's sweet how'd you get that?"  Something like maybe a Jagdpanzer IV with ambush pattern skin replacing the StuG for wehrmacht, they were very very similar in combat performance so balance wouldn't be an issue, it would just be something that stands out and is cool.

technical questions:
- using different protocol (like irc) for chat inside launcher (people could go there even just for a chat; moderators; logging; bot can be added to answer newbie questions; etc)
- server ip setting in launcher; allowing to run eir on different servers, in different languages
- can you store game stats from finished games, like units killed?
- new game modes? like king of the hill

project questions:
- [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bus_factor] Is there any chance to open source the full development, or how do you make sure that the project will not stop (when you start a full time job or something) as afaik you are the only developer who makes changes to the launcher.
- eir still feels like "work in progress", what do you need to make it final or stable?
- is someone working on making a new website? what are the plans to improve it?
- do you have any connection to Relic?
- do you need more or better hardware (better hosting) for the server?
- any plan to start more official servers, stable vs dev(test) server?
