But in saying that, thats like saying that the only REAL game made for competitive play is one where the developers have sat down and said " Ok, we want people to be super serious about this game, to play it like it were the *insert large sporting event relevant to your country*" thats what i get out of that.
I spose your right though, a lot of games are modded to be made competitive, COD 4 for example has ProMod and Pam4. Though TF2 isnt hugely modded, just a ready-up system and class limits (though i think class limits are server-side?). The only difference between Competitive and Casual play (the way i look at it) is that competitive play is organised, while casual play is kinda like "ill play this for a bit than try something else". Its all a matter of perspective really.

If we talk about pistols. That's all I can say. Clunky POS Draken... I'd take a Colt any day of the week over that thing. Don't get me wrong, the Desert Eagle has lovely performance and penetrating power, etc - But anybody that isn't a body builder would end up breaking their wrist by emptying a mag. Not to mention how big the gun itself is. The Desert Eagle is like bringing a cannon to a rifle fight. Your blatant overkill will probably get your arse shot off by something that's a lot more suited for it's task. |
