4 mgs, 4 paks, 2 snipers, 2 mortars, and a KT. Win.
I could do that build, without the KT because i went Terror sniper instead. The problem is I feel obligated to use Nebels otherwise im just wasting the t3 prior to heavy support, which gives me more rockets and more damage. Same reason I run flammens, to actually use my t3 I spent 45 pp's on.
You don't need both snipers and nebels, pick one.

You made a mistake not getting the top t2 if you like flammens

Yes I agree. However I didnt pick it with intention of getting flammens, but after I got the t3 napalm I tried out flame pio's and found unless you bring loads at once, they were crap. The flammen is 1 pop more than 2 squads, and harder to kill imo. Its also more mobile and costs less munitions. That is why I use the flammen, to try and maximize my t3 choice, rather than because I actually like the unit itself. Though it does have the benefit of doing well in smoke, one of the primary counters to my Support weapons, which is some nice synergy I guess.

When I tried napalm pio flamers they were a dream, so were the Top T2 flammens. I'd rather fight vet 3 4 Men KCH than a Vet 3 flamer with napalm.

i saw that broadcast. you blobbed 4 of them, killed 1 .50cal and half a riflesquad before they got killed.
they are far away from being a dream.

I'm telling you man, they kill shit noticeably faster. It's like a free Vet 3 Damage bonus on them, and for some reason vet 3 flamer pios/FGrens are brutal.

OK, so the Heavy support mg is able to fight off a flanking rifle squad, due to the mp44's. So single rifle squad flanks are no longer going to work. Though I suspect nades would still be a clincher for the rifles. Flame pio's do manage to defeat an mg that they flanked with 1 guy left.
Focus Fire on the mg seems nice against suppressed stuff, allows you to clear it up rather than it just sitting there, though using it against non suppressed troops will just get your mg killed.
A Pak can also fight of a single rifle squad, when using a medkit, though the gun itself came close to dying ( rifles had a zook)
Thats all we tested as it was all that seemed relevant really.
Overall it felt nice for the mg's, but not really a T4 if you know what I mean, like tbh it could have easily been a T3 i reckon. Also the opponents were rifles, I want to test this with rangers/ airborne/ commando's and see how the weapons fair, that will be interesting to me.
Ill upload replay later, filefront giving me issues.

Naw, imo, i think your underestimating this T4.
If the tests do show that MGs can fight off flanking rifles, imagine what can be accomplished when they are properly supported.
What I want to know, is there a cooldown when switching between focus fire and normal suppresion fire?
Ill go try to find it in the RGDs in the meantime.

Nah the duration is aslong as the ability itself, meaning you can use it permamently.

Silly me, i thought it was a click-able state that the MG can be in, like "lock-down"
This makes it even better. Suppressing burst then click on the killing burst, by the time the squad regains it's composure, the MG42 is back to suppressing and the rifle squads lost 3 or so guys.
for FF, RGDs says....
x1.75 acc.
x .1 suppression
Could've swore it was 90% in the patch notes instead of 75% tho. Looks like we had a phantom balance change on our hands.

Need to see in action before I start grinding up a support spam HS company - with proper micro that could be hellish, if it's good that is.
