The button is visible and is highlighted such that it can be clicked but it doesn't take up usages (I.E I can click it infinitely,)and it doesn't activate either.

It isn't supposed to do anything, 6pdrs don't get AP rounds.

Because the 6 pdr doesn't give the crew green cover and doesn't have access to AP rounds.

Historically - yes, same gun. In EiR:R, they're different. Just like, say, the hull MG in a sherman is actually the same gun as the US HMG, and so on and so forth.

umm.. no, the 6pdr uses the same gun in EiR:R as well, the only difference is the lack of AP rounds and the ability to cloak in cover.

It seems far more accurate. But I can't say for certain.

LTs maybe? I'm not sure if their buffs work on the 6pdr though.

The guns are identical, and LT does not affect the 6lber.

i always felt like the LT affected support weapon, it does highlight them.
but yeah, the 6pdr and 57mm are basically the same gun except the 6pdr cloaks in cover, doesn't get ap rounds and doesn't come with green cover and the 57mm does

It may be placebo or reporting bias, but I also feel 6pounders snipe infantry more than 57's.

nah, they don't. nothing at all was changed from the 57 to the 6 pdr but what i mentioned. in fact, a while ago it just used to be a 57 that cloaked and when it was decrewed, you couldn't cloak it back.

LT affects units classfied as infantry. ATGs are classfied as vehicles. LT and captain auras affect weapon crew.

By "different" in this case I meant "one has AP rounds, the other can cloak", as opposed to "completely identical, as they actually were historically" (although I suppose they might have had different AP rounds, due to different doctrines or supply/logistics situations).
