To avoid stomps, rapes, and players quitting EIRR
i have thought of a balance suggestion

Here it goes:

How bout the host of the room can have the option to choose what lvls are allowd to join
SAMPLE:

lvl[1]to[4] ONLY

then only ranks 1 to ranks 4, players can join

or

lvl[5]to[9] ONLY

then only players of ranks from lvl 5 to lvl 9 can join

or u can even allow any lvl to join

PLUS hosts are allowd to choose wat lvl are allowd to join
WAT I MEAN IS:

    ^    ^   <- - - switch
    3     6
lvl[2]to[5]ONLY
    1     4

gets wat i mean

Q: What if there are only 15 players or below and only little are active and you want a game soon like most of the time?
A: THEN SWITCH IT TO "ALL LVLS ALLOWED" MODE

NOW NEW PLAYERS CAN HAVE AN EVEN FIGHT
and
EXPERIENCE PLAYERS CAN HAVE THE FIGHT OF THEIR LIVES

IS IT A GOOD IDEA OR WHAT Cheesy

This actually sounds like a decent idea tbh.

If your in a high traffic time and you have a pick of players, tone the levels to your liking.

If you actually want to get a game during low traffic time, you just don't use the level restraints and it's all gravy.

If somebody tries to use a level restraint during a low traffic time, they will be hindering themselves... Besides, if a person doesn't want to play with a high level or a low level, they wont play with them. Function for it there or not.

Taking an attitude like that to the new players with new ideas is a good way to turn people away from the mod LeoPhone.

And annoying as playing with new people may be at the moment, these people are the life blood of EiRR if it is to expand and grow. Try saving the instantly negative attitude for those that are used to what you are like.

@ Aloha, If your level 2, and somebody is level 7... They *Will* have an advantage over you regardless of skill involved. How much of an advantage will as you say depend on their skill, but the advantage is there.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

like a while ago i told adhamS that we would play another time cuz i was training my lvl 1 engineers (CW) doctrine with other lvl 1 players
but he kept joining in with his lvl 8 and it took us 30 - 45 minutes to get him out and play the game fair and square

                      VS
5theriech(lvl2)            AdhamS(lvl8) <--AFTER 30-45 minutes he finally went out and was replaced with "spoki(lvl1)"

Company level has nothing to do with skill/opponent/player's level.

That's a fact.

And that's coming from (me) a player that is just 2-3 weeks "old" in EiR and already have a lvl 9 PE company but not as half skilled as some lvl 3-4-5 companies in EiR.

We dont have a player base for this indeed.

But thing is that if we did this would be good. Skill wont be regulated, but atleast a level 2 guy doesnt have to go against a level 9 guy with freak'in T4s.

I'll agree with Aloha in this case.

Lvl 1 account can defeat a lvl 9 account at ease.

Besides I'm tired of seeing games like "LVL 1 - 5s ONLY OTHER WISE KIK" things around tbh

And what about players between 100-150 games being able to play together only?

500-1000xp players only, etc etc, we need atleast 10x people for that, and for example I want to play against high levels = moar pps + xp.
