A moving robot statue of Hitler fighting a moving robot statue of Stalin. They can move about the battlefield wrestling each other, generally minding their own business, and are there only for aesthetic reasons.

Best idea ever btw ^

That would be far better if they had human crush and fired V1's at each other but missed.

Snow..

Imagine loading the map Foy Outskirts, and the author would make next map Foy.
Which makes objective based maps a cool idea for this one, Germans must prepare a defence and allies attack.. Might sound unbalanced but we always find a way eventually..

Bah, overall more snow maps, i find it more fun to play on such as St. winn.

I've got a decent library of maps floating around, its just whether they get played or not.

People tend to freak when their gameplay changes because of the map.

Maybe I will do some snowy ones, if we had OCP back things would be much more interesting with good attack/defend scenarios.

Anyway, as far as snow goes I still have Industrial Heartland floating about, fixing some of the more cluttered areas right now, also have a good winter version of Arnhem based on the Relic map. Works well as a 3v3.

Will see what else I can come up with.

I think a series of maps that join each other would be fun, even if it was 5 maps, and each map started 50% into the edges of the ones beside it... overlapping.

you could play a set number of players and push each other back and forth with set starting sides Wink

maybe i'll look into finishing the map I had started and use this idea with stamps!

Salan, I would do that if we had a campaign going and Objective based gameplay back. I can simulate it with varying sector density, but it doesn't work quite the same.

As far as snow goes, pretty easy to make a winter map, but you know, I have a few of them already made. Industrial is similar to Stalingrad lol, and Winter Arnhem is well, similar to urban hell.

My only real qualm with super detailed maps is that sometimes they interfere with actual gameplay (not just "hur dur where's my RTC?!"). When you start to add too many obstacles and cool looking objects you hinder unit movement. Pretty objects make for a good SP campaign map, but for MP you need to keep actual practical gameplay in mind. Simplicity is gold Smiley

Also, if you make a snow or desert map make sure it doesn't blind the players. I have bad memories of a modded snow map that just made my eyes burn  Shocked
