Hi guys
I think a problem with ranger\ab spam is that fireup makes them totally immune to suppression.

Suppression = 0
Received Suppression x 0
Maximum Speed + 1
Sight Radius x 0.5

Make a Received Suppression = 0.5 or higher. Discuss.

combine that with ab armour...

rangers are not such a problem as are ab...they can be stopped with tanks since zooks aint that strong...

I was unaware ranger spam was an issue.

As for AB, increase pool for AB Rifles and that solves it.

if they run at you, either back away and wait for them to exhaust or if they run away, see if they're running to help, if not, wait for them to exhaust, blast 'em. There's a serious downside, while they can fire up, they also cool down to half their effectiveness after its' over. Its more a "get outta dodge" ability than "im coming after you!" the problem with ab is more the doc abilities and the spam nature of a lot of players rather than ab themselves.

RR AB + Shermans isn't the issue. It's the swarm of AB Bars and AB RR's.

Pool value isn't the issue with Ab rifles. It's the armor type and the access to specialty weapons. If they were just rifles they'd be easy to deal with. Things like the Mine placement affecting them for 15 munitions makes it dirt cheap to get mines everywhere.
The do everything a Riflemen can but better. Access to BAR's goes a long way then you add Stickies into the equation and they are just a porcupine of doom waiting to hurt you

Well, I was thinking of things that wouldn't require RGD changes =p

Ideally you would remove the BAR and give them Garand's.

I can remove the BAR as an upgrade option in the SQL and no one can purchase it. Then I remove all upgrades with it and no one has it. It stays in the RGD's for the future just in case and removes BAR from AB rifles. Easy fix. If thats the direction we take or not is the question

I say just remove fire up from rangers/airborne, the reason being is this is EIRR, not vCoH, if you fire up to rush an MG the MG can't just retreat and reinforce, it goes offmap. Fire up doesn't fit in EIRR at all tbh
