just played somes 3v3s. it was epic.

once i release the new update in the public im sure some more people will show up. they already liked it but the lack of new stuff held them back from playing more i think.

remove xp from destroying decrewed weapons Smiley

Remove infantry crush from out of control m8s... That was the only gay thing I noticed. Other than that, the mod was fun as hell.

yah, inf vet is pretty ridiculous. hard to get vet 3 though. and after ur squad is vet 3 u prolly needs to reinforce since it fought a lot. that costs a lot of mp.

tanks get 1.25 dmg at vet 3 i think.

Is that 28.125 dmg/shot? Yes it is.
Is it 75 percent acc at long range? Yes it is.

Does it mean you can rely on a squad of vet 3 falls to kill a a guy each time they fire a volley at long range? You bets so ^^.

I really think i'm gonna increase their price.

they are grenadiers who can airdrop(+reinforce airdrop) and cloak for only 20 extra mp.
20 hp less per man but the soldier armor kinda cancels that out doesn't it?

what about 270 or 275 mp?

lol myst, that sounds pretty epic. but if you manage to get a squad to vet 3 you should be rewarded big time too.
but for the price of reinforcing the 50% damage bonus squad u can just as well buy a new squad. then u have 100% damage bonus Tongue

Just downloaded and a played a skirmish game with the cpu.

My initial thoughts...

the pop cap is way to low.  I played on Ruins of Rouen and I was only able to field two Shermans, two Infantry and an Antiitank gun at any one time.  You can actually que up a lot more than you can field.

I like the one time vehicle repair "at the base" as it forces you to pull damaged vehicles from the front lines for repairs which seems realistic. 

I also like the availability of everything for each unit at the start as well and having to get it at the HQ (i.e. remember to bring it with you) or go back for it.

I went to the CPU's base to attack some units there and tried to destroy its mg bunker it seemed my Sherman couldn't harm it so I don't know if that is a bug.

Also not having the buildings on the map is kinda of weird - since VP is the only victory condition I guess it wouldn't make sense to destroy them but maybe using them as points of entry for different units might help.  Otherwise I can see one big mine drop over and over again really bunking the game.

I chose Airborne and after figuring out that you need CP points to use abilities and not resources I did a strafe and bombing run.  The strafe seemed effective as usual.  The bombing run was totally inert.  Had infantry in the opening in between buildings and it barely killed any infantry and damaged no buildings.  So that is definitely not working correctly.

The skins look great. 

Oh and one final points.....WE NEED MORE PLAYERS!!  Come on guys!

Thanks for the feedback Armormaven. It really helps.

The popcap is indeed quite a bit lower than in company of heroes and this makes some maps a bit too big. but note that fielding two shermans at the same time was part of the problem. if you field that much armor, you can expect to lose capping power.

the HQs and HQ bunkers have increased health. that is why it seemed they weren't damaged. this is done to stop baserush tactics ruining the match.

I don't really get what you mean with this. if you destroy the HQ you also win.

strafle and bombing run stats have not been touched. sometimes company of heroes simply is really random. I will reduce the randomness of explosive weapons in the next patch though. sometimes units can "dodge" the explosion while standing right in it.

As a follow up in my second game I did field more infantry and the pop cap seemed about right. 

As for the mine drop I was talking about laying mines at the opponent's "spawn" location since all the units come on from the same spot.  But as I tried this with a Greyhound I realized that the mine usage is "fixed" so you don't have unlimited mines to lay.

In this game I actually ran out of "munitions" and other than the button at the bottom of the HQ for a munition advantage (150 i think) i didn't see anyway to replenish my munitions.  Is this intentional?

I have also noticed that the AI NEVER retreats any of its units now.  Not really a bug but if you can really injure or damage a unit you can basically leave it and let it take up pop by not killing it.

Finally, there are a LOT of VP points.  I don't know if this is a function of the resource points from vcoh having to be used somehow in the game but all things being equal half as many would be more than enough for most games.  As it is now if you get enough infantry out when your opponent has armor on the map you can cap all the VP and just avoid his tanks until the VP expires.

Also I have not tried this but is it possible to take units off the map by going back to your spawn like in EIRR?  This would be useful in instances above (though the AI didn't seem to be able to do this).

All in all a great mod with a LOT of potential.

At last!
I managed to fix the AI.

Me and Icelandic played some games vs medium/hard AI already and they beat us every time.
before they weren't doing anything and now they are raping shit up. amazing lmao.

version 061.4 update

This update re implements HQ structures but should fix all AI related issues.
Hopefully there is a way to get around this, but for now we will have to do it with it...

Leo, just DLed and started playing this at work since I don't get internet there. And it's tons of fun! Is there any way to start off with all the buildings built already? Not a big deal if not. Thanks for the mod, it's what I like about EIRR, but I can play with the AI.
