cartain building are in perfect spots for MG42's allied mortars have to come into MG42 range to hit these mortars for instance
with the lack of road splines Blitz coys will have alot of fun where others are forced to move at normal speed
Really? Ha ha ha

I used it as an inspiration to get into mapping. Anyway I've heard there are bugs with watersplash showing up on the left, does anyone have a replay?

u mean if arty shoots the ground u see watersplash? thats probably because the height of the ground is 0.00000. this is usually caused by wrong stamping. I think it can also be fixed easy by using the stamp tool again.

I only learned the basics of stamping because I really needed it to increase the non playable area. How do I fix it? Also this

Okay I set the general height of the map to 1.000, hope that fixes the watersplash. Now wtf am I going to do with that blue texture? WB crashes when I paint over it.

oh that stuff with the textures - I think it happens more if u use more different tile textures. Paint some in the wrong areas and then CTRL+Z should fix it for the stamp tool: dont use the absolute coordinate button since it bugs out: you can see everything get placed lower when you press the button. to fix: Stamp the entire map, make a new map and then set the stamp correctly in the middle manual. If its still wrong make the middle point of the map higher (like 20.000) and try again edit: Okay I set the general height of the map to 1.000, hope that fixes the watersplash. Now wtf am I going to do with that blue texture? WB crashes when I paint over it.
u made the entire map flat by hand? k.... idk about the WB crashing if u paint over it. that doesnt happen for me. maybe assigning different textures in the tile tool to your different layers fixes it? (just load the old one back once its fixed, if that helps)

nvm about setting it to a new texture, it doesnt work. painting it and then CTRL+Z also doesnt seem to work always. just paint on it a bit untill it disappears.
im not even sure if it also appears ingame.....

It does. Painting over it seems to work but WB keeps crashing randomly. I guess I will have to use a new texture because this one bugs out and makes it blue like that.
EDIT: This is REALLY weird, there seem to be certain spots that cause this graphic bug to happen. I painted over a random area and it fixed itself, the brown one atleast.

Fixed it all. Epicness is too damn high, run autoupdaters to get it.
- Fixed the ingame name
- Fixed height (should prevent watersplash from showing up on the ground
- Moved some hedges so you can't drive through them

Map doesn't really look that urban for a 6p_Paris.
In addition, the transitions between 'city' and 'park' are a little abrupt and there's a combination of too many different styles in your city to make it look realistic.
Right now your map looks like a more or less random collection of worldbuilder objects all put together on one area.

I might rename it later on. I just wanted some of the most important sectors covered with atleast 1 map first.

If it makes for good gameplay, who cares.

Maps need both good gameplay AND relic-like quality.
It's his first map of course, but I'm hoping that he updates this map as he learns more... 'Final' seems a bit out of order.

I'm always open for suggestions. Right now I'm not sure what needs changing. I didn't intend to make it look too realistic, I just made this map because I always wanted one like this. This is easly on par with Tanteville if you ask me.
