Technically they are going to be taken away, but you can get an upgrade to give a standard rifle squad 5 grease guns and a doc to give them +1 grease gun

but the flamers are awesome........
without the officer they turn useless and the rangers are too good to be not equiped.

I've never seen them in action but rifles with grease guns sound awesome, they're like better mp40s aren't they?

As far as I know they are basically a mirror of MP40's on the Volks.

Which makes them decent so long as you don't try to kill something while your on the move. Last time I checked the moving modifier for Volks MP40's was a rather nasty 0.2.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Actually, looking at the RGDs, the grease guns look like nerfed MP40s. I didn't look at everything, but from what I did look at.... they have the same damage, accuracy, and moving accuracy, but the MP40 fires longer bursts at a higher rate of fire and reloads faster and doesn't have to reload as often.

Hence why RGDs say so little some times. The grease guns work about twice as good as the mp40's atm, and will tear them apart at medium range.

In actuality..

The greasegun has lower fire aim time, a lower cooldown, lower reload time and has to reload half as often...

It just fires slightly slower (6 rounds/second instead of 7 rounds/second) and the burst is slightly shorter, essentially making the Greasegun still far superior.

So yeah, RGDs do say everything. Stop doubting the power of the RGDs.

Obviously I failed somewhere to think that the grease gun had stuff like longer reload time than the mp40... my bad.
