Somehow, the replay speaks for itself.
But, as most of you won't actually dare to look in it, let me do a quick description:
We have two allies player, respectively weakgren/mhrasmmus that made up around 55 infantry squads with either smoke grenades or grease guns, and one players get 2-3 atg's on the field while the others get around 15 squads, literally.
There is no L2Play involved here, or L2Micro, as PE, you're quite fucked. Me and my teammates did fairly well considering the companies and here's the result.
Somehow, if you don't want to get everyone away from EIRR for good, find a way to limit the allied spam.
To be quite honest, if I play a few others game like this, I'll leave this mod definitely, and I'm sure that's shared by a few players here.

Imo smoke has become somewhat prolific. The bonuses smoke gives in general are not problematic, nor are the weapons that are fired in it. The problem is that cooldowns for a lot of smoke abilities are too short.
That said its a tough era to join and play EIRR in. Gameplay is really complicated. So many new units to consider and new types of buffs that are hard to gauge the effect of.
In some ways gameplay was cleaner back in the day of defending on RTC. You know what to expect. It was a gentleman's fight. Now it's all hoodlums and even the average players have created their own super spam strategies.
I was lucky to start EIRR back in the simple days. I'd hate to be a new player in the current EIRR

I saw Allied Infantry operating under smoke to use their ballistic weapons and grenades, the counter to smoke is hard to utilise but it can work.

They mortared you, and if you tried to rush their mortar.. their LMGs killed your rifles
And if you called on a sniper to kill all their Vet 3 Grens with LMGs, they summoned a never ending horde of bikes
Shermans were almost pointless to use, because grens just didn't die. So sexy.
And you would have to drop AB behind them to satchel the repair bunker..epic

More like -
They mortar you, you recon and strafe it.
They send vet 3 grens with lmgs as you, you strafe it.
They bring another mortar, you inf offmap it.
Alternatively use Raid Assault ab for any situation except ferocity lmgs, but then you just strafe them.

Hi. I'm back.
2nd and 3rd game played, 3v3, up against 12 snipers, 4 flak88s, horde of volksgrenadiers, and multiple bike call-ins to kill counter-snipers.
My team's and my company were balanced companies.
We won both games (different players each time).
Good ole' spam still loses to balanced companies that know when to fall back and when to push. If you don't then you just get overrun. Learn that distinction and all spam is defeatable with the same company build
