In the past pretty much everyone agreed (advisors, community, devs) that officer spam before the nerf were OP, so far you seem to be the only one who thinks riflenades are OP......

future games will tell.  (and smoke , not riflenades)

They were smoking pot tbh.

So, it is the SMOKE that is overpowered? Why is it then "Brit smoke" instead of "Smoke" by itself?

smoke ON riflenades.

Come close to axis inf , pop smoke,  win.

I wouldn't say a thing if a brit mortar would be providing smoke to those riflenades, but just popping smoke like that makes it OP.
I need hummel or MHT to provide smoke , wehr or PE inf cannot pop smoke out of their arse.

I've changed the name of thread to make my point more clear - the popping of smoke by riflenades.

Because they're wildly inaccurate, slow firing, and your troops were bundled. If they didn't have power they would be completely useless.

If you don't want people to answer the question, then don't ask why.

Smoke is a legit tactic.

As i said earlier all armies have units that do well in the smoke. Play around it.

I see what you're saying. Normally when you use smoke you get a mortar to pop it in an area, and then move in flamers/RRs/nades in conjunction to take advantage of the smoke. The fact that Tommies don't need the mortar; that they can just pop it on themselves as a sort of mini commando smoke and be safe while still dishing out damage unaffected.
Perhaps a good solution would be to increase the minimum distance than smoke could be fired? Then they'd have to pop smoke and then move into it, rather than just popping it on themselves and instantly getting the bonuses.
Still, not a major issue in my book. The only time I'm afraid of rifle nades with when there's 10 of them raining down on you at a time. Rifle nade blobs are scary.

yep , that's why players who know what they are doing are blobbing riflenades and doing the 'pop op'

beacuse some don't post on forum it doesn\t mean the problem does not exist

No, I get it.

Smoke from mortars requires timing and coordination of combined arms.

Smoke from riflenades are a self sustaining AI force that requires no thought, is on a short cooldown and is a portable plasma shield, if you will.

It just promotes blobbing and sloppy play.

Any other unit that has this kind of utility has to pay for it in the form of separate smoke grenades and they have uses.

still, it's always been there. It's been over a full year and no one has ever complained about it.

BTW...they launched their smoke at max range, not close range.  It takes a while for riflenade smoke to really cloud up and since they're not popping multiple clouds but just one from each guy, its the blob that makes it crazy not the riflenade itself.
