google that dll file, dl it and put it in the folder where modstudio.exe is.

then, when corsix is opened click the load SGA button and open
C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\WW2\Archives\WW2Data.sga

in there go to data\scenarios\
right click scenarios -> extract all files in this folder -> select
C:\Users\(username)\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes\ww2\data\Scenarios

make sure the folder structure stays the same.

for eir's maps you do the same but you load the sga inside
C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes\EuropeInRuins\Archives
instead of
C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\WW2\Archives\WW2Data.sga

looks good. try to activate the "random rotation" button so the splats dont look so much the same every time.

you still get the error that you don't got the dll but you did DL it and put it in the folder where you have modstudio.exe?

You may also want to try and put to tile textures on top of each other to blend them. Most of your grass is well grass, whip out the tile tool pick a mud texture and lower the strenght of it. Go over it in multiple places to get a more random state Cheesy

Don't despair gork. Think you just tried with too big a map for starters : 4v4s are something that quite a lot of people physically hate playing (for reasons of lagginess or otherwise), so that might be a reason why testing is hard for you to do.

Perhaps cut down the map's size and convert it into a 3v3?

yea, make 2v2 or 3v3 version of it,since 4v4 are rarely played, and even when they are,u need to make 8 people go here, download the map etc,and it's enought that 1 person doesnt like it and refuses to download it,so testing is almost impossiable, unless you are very lucky.

I wanted to tell you but everyone needs to experience this by himself. First you have to pass the EIR whine test, everyone whines about something else on the map. One says it's inf heaven, second its support heaven 3rd about smth else etc.
After that when you are lying in your own blood and vomit outside the eir cave a master caveman comes and you need to pass the test that is unknown to anyone but few. Some call it the 'unknown experience', many have fallen on this point and even though brave warriors sacrificed their lifes for honor of the clan, some unworthy ones have slipped through and went on happily flocking their spears along the dutch countryside.

Mate you didnt disappoint anyone. we appreciate your work, no work done for the eirr community goes un noticed. we are not 10 year olds that forget what people do for the community.

Dont forget, we gave you suggestions, opinions and help along creation of your map, we did constantly said it was huge map, it wasnt open enough etc. and infact you were making progress in making it a great map, you just have to move towards what the community wants, not what you want.

when you said it shouldnt be that open because it was "normandy" styled map, ok fair enough but if you go against suggestions of the community that know how EIRR is played, than its better for your map to be played rather than be scraped because your not doing what we want.

Think about it, would you play a map that you hate, no you wouldnt. i do get what you mean by why people say fail map, its not nice and not needed, but try to take it as very poorly said criticism, that our suggestions along the were not heeded and you continued to go against what we wanted.

as smurfornot said, its easier to test a smaller map, so be a man and just try it alright. we appreciate your work, we always have and we are thankful you are making this map for our community, we dont have many mappers and those who undertake this heavy load we appreciate.

You could cut a piece out and make a 2vs2 or 3vs3 out of it.

try to use this version of corsix gork.
http://www.filefront.com/17857176/Corsixs-ModStudio.zip/

give me the map and ill stamp it to a nice size.

I know a lot of members always talk like babies (mostly in launcher) but just ignore them and finish the map.
It's your choice if you don't want to start a new project but you should finish something you begun.
