Ok, well with the current patch reducing the once fun weapon (not op, not even awesome, but fun and useful) to being crap (yay...a STuH...that vehicle NOBODY uses because its so crap) by having the same inaccurate low damaging gun as the STuH42 on a slower more vulnerable body and costing roughly the same in pool and pop (and close on base price too).


So, here is the issue. As a T3 Unlock, that costs the same as a PAK and will be probably pool, priced and pop'd about the same. Why would I use this over the far cheaper and more effective HMG or Mortar?

The change to the LeiG was a design change, not a balance change. No one really thought the LeiG was OP, however people did believe design-wise it should be anti-infantry. We can make it better at it's primary role, if that's what this is about.

Then it better be better at it than an HMG for the pool/pop/price. Either way, it can easily be replaced with better options without wasting a T3.

Maybe it was a design change, that doesn't make it a good change. But you know, you can tell EIRR gameplay is awesome right now by the MASSIVE amount of people playing it in vent...

Oh wait, we're playing other games.

the price will be made lower since the LeIG 18 lost some of its anti vehicle effective.

I personally believe the Leig should be made more efficient at it's anti-infantry role.

Reduce it's scatter a little bit, and buff the accuracy?

with 100 dmg a shot, the thing blows apart rifle squads if it hits.

I think the problem lies in that people fail to support themselves.

Pool could be adjusted tho. It's a pain to have even 3 of these things with a full compliment of MGs and ATGs.

Everything can shoot through forests but only piats and riflenades can hop over hedges without hitting the hedge.

The thing is fine as it was, its a slow moving AI weapon, don't charge it with infantry. I mean its not rocket science.

+1 I do not know how people justfiy this, then they claim that the balance team are a buncha noobs who cant play.

Also, absolutely nothing was changed in regards to the Leig's effectiveness vs. Infantry. Incase you missed the patch notes...

* Lowered LEIG18 damage and penetration against various armor. (similar to stuh)
* LEIG18 to 360 MP, 100 Mun (From 380 MP, 120 Mun)

That's all that happened. Something like the LeiG has a 33% chance of penetrating a sherman instead of the previous 100%

Again, it needs to be BETTER than a Mortar or HMG for the pool/pop/price plus T3 unlock.

It being DUAL purpose was the ONLY reason for taking it.

That was it, the only thing it had going for it was that it was less pop intensive than 1 HMG and 1 PaK.

Replaced my LeIGs with more PaK's, 2 more Mortars, a Nebel and LMGs.

But your not blitz, your defensive if you have the LeiG.

LeiG is a killing platform, not a suppression platform. Pair it with an Mg42 and watch the kills rack up.

and it aint my mod, i just do the PR.
