These guys are one of the special units of the scorched earth, should they not possibly get the ability to buy incendiary nades as part of the chemical fire T4?

well i understand your suggestion. But as with MANY of the other doctrines like infantry and armor and blitzkrieg, thier T4s and other doctrine stuff buff thier special units heavily, while the SE tree hardley buffs thier special units at all. other then 25% extra flame thrower damage which doesnt do much becuase flamers only kill with a crit.

And how does that justify breaking one of the core concepts of doctrine design?

But yes i do see your point, not putting stuff as unlocks in the docs. Maybe add it to the unlock tree?

panzer pioneer is meant to give the PE a unit for stealing recrewing support weapon. Think of them as the SE version of luftwaffe ground force.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

firesparks. have you ever used them before? i can easily get 10 kills on them every game. its a 6 man sqaud with better grease guns. pair them with a munitions haftrack= win. so... dont comment unless you mightve used em Wink

You mean like the +1 to a weapon, or an ability on cooldown instead of limited?

Why would you use panzer pios to recrew?  It's an assault greasegun squad... its like saying you would use a 6-man ranger SMG or Sten squad or greasegun rifleman solely for recrew.. which is clearly not.

If that was the intention of the panzer pio, then whoever added that unit clearly did not understand what they were doing.

Lmao if you put a munition HT with the panzer Pios they become regular mp40s with volks armor. so they can get pretty nasty

Or just dont choose Chemical fire at all as its a useless T4

choose something else until devs realise the shittyness of the doctrine choice

chemical fire is fine if you use effin fire stuff. it buffs all flame rounds and +25% dmg on flamethrowers is very epic, i've seen this used quite well

they're great for spamming incin mines, demos and booby traps cuz they're so trap (the pios) and they're basically builders (think pz grens + pioneers without bunkers) altho i do agree with them not being tier 2, makes no sense to me

What?

Anyways, all T4s are meant to change the playstyle of the designed company no? That's what made Tank Reapers one of my favorite T4s up until now because it was overall fun to use, I don't have much experience with Axis, and to be more specific the Panzer Elite, but I would assume it would be alright if Panzer Pioneers had Flame Nades, it kinda runs along the lines of the SE Chemical Fire T4
