#1 thing I dislike about EIR gameplay is the ATGs sniping each other.

It should really be removed.

What you should of already Knew. ATG creep ATG. first one that opens fire on the other is like 90% likely to hit thus likely to win all the time. try it.

It is at .5 Wild, the PaK40 is at 1.0.

They need to be set to about .25...

This is fixed next patch.

Now, the thing we got to consider is now is that is ATG sniping an EIRR game mechanic? Should you not be able to use all your guns, all your resources to achieve a tactical advantage?

It certainly is not needed in vCoH. AT guns are expensive. Destroying them outright causes an insurmountable economic drain that is hard to come back from. How are you to repel that KT when 2 paks destroy your 57mms as they reach the front? It's not needed in vCoH.

EIR is somewhat different. Half the game is force preservation. If you dont move your ATG out of a fight it cant win, (Barring inconsistancies like the Pak40 target tables) it is your fault, not the game's, it's yours. Everyone should have access to measures to prolong your AT gun's life. Medkits, triage, medicbunker, scoutcar healing, they may not all be equal, but you can certainly make do.

ATG sniping is an interesting dynamic. The target tables actually do not tell the full story, AT guns do not have an at worst 50% chance to hit eachother. After taking into account range and cover its really much lower.

ATGs shouldnt hit man pack weapons tho. (MGs, mortars, etc.)

well the disparity between the two is horrendous, i'm tired of having paks take out my atgs even while im moving.

set 'em both to .25 and i'll be happy.

Without the need to 'pick up and deploy' like other ATGs... send an inf squad in to take first shot, roll the 50mm up, fire and roll back, with the longer reload on allied ATG drives me crazy.

Oh yes i love snipeing 57s with my 50mills, its pretty effective since if you roll the 50s in pairs it takes 3 shots and the 57 is kaput. support them with inf and yer 50s dont end up with any damage and your enemy is down one atg ;P

bullshit pe needs at guns problem(s) solved

currently PE still has 2 of the problems that got solved for other factions (by lowering accuracy vs towed_gun [ATgun])

1. ATguns sniping PE ATguns
2. boysAT/RR sniping PE ATguns

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Lmao PE doesnt need ATGs but it need more durable HTs, when my 50mmls i pay 110 munitions for can be killed by just about anything. Quite the problem

its not possible to balance that with ht or marder because AT guns and handheld AT are doing their job...they kill vehicles (unfortunately PE AT are vehicles)
AT guns can decrewed by infantry marders 50mm not (at least not effectively)

the imbalance is that AT guns snipe at 60 range where infantry need to get very close/some time to decrew AT guns

thats the same annoying trouble as the AT gun vs AT gun sniping thing was

and the AT guns are usually not destroyed in 1 sec and can be recrewed multiple times
