Does anyone else thing there health needs to go up a tad?
Right now they die way to fast to be effective in actually assualting, hence there name. There brilliant when flanking ATGs and support weps. They will do fine when flanking infantry when said infantry are firing at something else. But as soon as they fire at engineers, they drop like flies. Even in green cover they seem to die way to easily.

Im not talking about a massive health upage. im suggesting for a small increase so they can stand more punishment.

Does anyone else use them frequently? if so what are your thoughts?

I have used them extensivly the past few days, i have a armour coy FULL of them. 13 squads to be exact.

Bars are far more cost effective atm i see no reason to use the shotguns when the bar preforms so well. They nerfed the assault squad a bit too much a while back so now they are a bit useless imo.

aye i know about the nerf they gave the unit, i was one of the people that said they were pretty OP when they came out. They were pretty rape tbh. but now there meh.

they dont need a health increase at all. they are fragile assaulting SUPPORT units, support then with rifleman in an assault, or with tanks or anything and they do great, they do way to much damage to get alot of halth.

i think its also that htey cost too much. if they were around 40-60 mu they'd be worth the cost but 90 is waaaa too much

stop complaining about the allied stuff, its fine as is, needs to be left the same, if made any cheaper and if buffed, it would just become another allied gimmick, it was clearly stated when they created them. its an ENGINEER sqaud with FOUR shotguns. they rape the fuck out of anything if theyere in green cover, they clear buildings faster then flamers, they kill halftracks like nothing, but you have to support them, theyre fine as is. stop crying yer gimmicks arent working fanboys

i think they are only useful if you get that T2 that makes them harder to hit. ideally you would use them with bar rifles, have rifles suppress, then finish off with the engs. Plus if you have that HT T2 it cuts down the time you have to wait to use suppression. But all in all, I found them to be a waste of munitions.

Your assault engies were beating my KCH yesterday, they're still strong guys. I think they'd be epic in a HT if you go and use them to flank support weapon crews. Kind of like how people use HT + sniper combinations, but offensively.
