i cant tell you how many times i have offered to do something as simple as push a button for him and hes denied it.
Ummmmm, so what "button" would that be?
What skill is it you are able to bring to the Dev team? What request offering
that skill was refused?
Just like computer991 he said he could do Luna and some scar
Get your facts straight..... he does not have the current level of lua/scar experience needed to do the work required.
Derp just read this. and L0L a community run mod that accepts only a choice of people for the dev team??
Sooooo, when did this become a community run mod? I think the color of the sky in your world is a little different than the rest of us.
Do we accept input from the community? Of course we do, they are playing the mod and some of them have great ideas.
Do we implement every single little suggestion? ah, no, that would be retarded; ~50% of the people disagree with each other ~100% of the time.
This is Eirrmod's program, it gets designed the way he wants and with the input he wants to use.
And for those of you who like to throw around the "It was not his mod, it was gifted to him". It's his mod now, it was gifted "TO HIM" and there were no strings attached as to how it was to be completed. It was not "Gifted to him" he was allowed to take over a website based mod barely out of the ground. He then turned it into what we have now.
There is absolutely nothing stopping any person here from going out, setting up their own forums, their own launcher, their own design teams, their own mods, balance teams and coders and creating their very own mod exactly the same as this one. If it is so damn easy, please, be our guests and go get one going. Oh, and when you have it all up and running, please let us know so we can come by and tell you how shitty of a job you are doing and how to do it better.
And you had better listen to everything anyone tells you, because I am sure your mod will be "community run" just like this one.
For the rest of you who do QQ every other day and actually appreciate the work the Dev team does with out expectations: Thank you, you are the reason we keep working.
