I think actually there is completely no reason to use it. Shells are innacurate, range isn't the biggest advantage of it penetration sucks and AI capabilities are not enough for its price and tier 3 unlock.

So, here are some ideas how to fix it:
- increase range, so it would cooperate with bikes and spotters
or
- decrease manpower and munition cost
or
- add option as in 88 to shot some howitzer's shell

It already has a barrage option. Making it a speedy moveable howitzer is just..wrong? I am shocked to even hear such a suggestion being made

It's still crap, easy solution, don't use it. It needs either more range (which means it outranges ATGs) or it needs higher accuracy.

I have to say these things seem to inspire more fear than do any actual damage when I go up against them. It's like the riflemen of support weapons, because it can damage everything, but it doesn't do specifically well against any one of those things. What happens if you simply use it to support your support weapons? Bring it in to do extra damage to a squad suppressed by an MG, bring it in to help your ATG. It's pretty much like a glorified allied mortar it seems. Or a direct fire mortar kind of.

It is a direct mortar. I treat my LEIGs no differently than I do with a mortar. Suppress and bombard. For some reason, people tend to think that this support weapon is the only case in which it does not require some support to be successful.

Just pair it with a machinegun or another suppression tool, keep the Leig nearby, stop lolocharging it forward, expecting it to break advancing infantry and you'll be plesently suprised how fast it will decimate squads. No support weapon in this game is self sufficient, it's not gonna happen.

lol rifelmen of support weapons, he couldn't help throwing in an allied jab.

but yeah i agree with GF, they're like stronger mortars, you use them with other stuff. No more bringing out 3-5 of these at a time and expecting them to lol'rape everything. Heck, HMG, Pak + Leig = very hard to break unless you have artillery.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Anyway it still needs bigger range +5 or 10 would be nice, so as you said it would be like mortar

One flanking tank with good splash? Don't u only need to strafe the pak and ignore the leig?

In the last game I played against you Hydroo you used it really well, that higher arc let you attack my piats and riflenades without me being able to touch you. It's a unit that fits in perfectly with the defensive doctrine and brings out what it's all about, creating lines for defense and holding them (which is personally a play style that I despise, but that's another story). They might be a little on the underpowered side, but they're still a great unit to have on the field to support a variety of other units you may have.

the barrage being the same range as the normal ability makes no sense, at least make it a bit farther cuz whats the point of using it unless there's a blob coming, but then there's usually better options

The barrage is just a different rate of fire, much like the heavy support paks except it's not a toggle, you need to manually click where you want it to hit. There is no recharge or anything. If it got an increased range that'd be weird.

I too have no idea why the Leig isn't allowed to deal proper damage to tanks.

Right now there's no particular reason why you wouldn't just grab a mortar over it - or simply an HMG42. Do the same for less cost and popcap.

Well then perhaps it nees to not be a teir 3, and lets stop making every fucking unit unlock needed.

See T-17s Much?  No because they are not super units, No unlockable unit should NEED to be had, Its an option, It should b treated as such.

Every Week i play this game there is new units, New upgrades, and new shit to contend with that  i have no idea what it is, what it does, and overlaps with units already.

I had it used against me a few times and the 2 shells it fired, killed 2 guys both times, it scared the shit out of me, and acted like a stuh.

That is morfeared then a mortor since it can be re crewed and moved o easily.
