How about we stick with what we got.

It works, it is balanced, and it does not require additional man time to create something new that is not needed........

Not that we are against creating new stuff, but repair ability is not broken, so why fix it?

I actually like Volks idea. Having something to repair your shite other than repair kits would make some vehicles more useful. -coughs at p4s, tigers and Panthers-

tbh, with a repair system such as that it only encourages light vehicle spam.

what we have is great, there really are never any complaints about it, and that's for good reason, it's got to be the best system really.

repair really helps out wm more than any other side because of the overall toughness of their vehicles.

also the repair bunker + pio was not intended and was cause for a ban at the time, you were only supposed to use one or the other.

anyway, i like the current system but i also wouldn't mind seeing vehicles mean more overall but go up in cost. i miss real good infantry battles and not with upgrades, talkin about 4 vanilla rifle squads vs 4 vanilla gren squads, it was just good fun.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

I'm thinking of using all of my Roflmen (vetted ones, that is) vanailla; every time I use BARs, even on just 1 squad, Im just another lolblobber according to everyone in the match. Sorry guys, I'll have them shoot spitballs and throw rocks.

Those of you who denounced the Repair Truck idea; the squad inside it repairs. The truck within a 35 radius would boost the repair rate to that of regular Repair, but the truck had a crapload of received acc. modifiers that made it get insta-crit'd by the blind guy down the street. Assuming its that easy to kill, rudimentary repairs at 3 HP/sec. Thats a damn long time to get even a jeep topped off from ~10% HP (guestimation). This can't be spammed, plain and simple.

If not, then I wipe, then someone gets something they shouldn't, then it gets abused, then the shit hits the fan and then I ban shab.

yeah it can, units like light vehicles and stugs, don't take too long to repair, you bring them up, take a shot or two, repair, and do it indefinitely, done right you can have units that never seem to die.

that's how it used to be. Bring up Tiger, take a few shots get down to half health, retreat heal it up with repair bunker + pio trick (u tell the pio to repair b4 the vehicle starts to repair and it'll do both) walla, infinite Tiger, p4, king tiger, panther, etc. Tiger leaderboard used to be worse than this.

Old repair system actually made most of Axis armor worth while as they could remain on the field to work on their cost effectiveness. Now instant sticky on a Tiger with green health means useless Tiger without second repair kit- similar to a KT and the other vehicles.

Honestly? Allied armor is generally more durable than Axis armor in the current gameplay. Six Armor Sherman companies are far stronger than Six Blitz P4 companies or similars. All in all I don't see anything wrong with the old repairs. A repair bunker or a Repair vehicle for every faction. BergeTiger with PE, repair bunker with Wehrmacht, Expert Engineers with the British and that only leaves Americans without a repair unit, not that it is hard to add in a expert engineer like unit to the Americans.

PE BergeTiger. Pop expensive but the fastest repairer and toughest armor
WM Repair Bunker. Cheap pop wise, immobile and medicore armor
British Expert Engineers. Medicore Pop cost, fragile platforms but mobile
American - Unknown. Supposedly a Truck could bring out engineers to repair the vehicles once the vehicle is locked down or smth similar.

The old system had repairs at 1 HP/sec and it would still end up in stalemates of repair. Just saying.

Taking a mere 50 seconds to heal a penetrated 57mm shot is not really all that long at all.
