I want to hear comments on this specific doctorine.

What are Failschrimjägers? How do they perform? Their cost? Their effectiveness? Their entire doctorine build etc.

Does anyone want to tell meh? I'm just curious to hear the experiences from folk who has used this particulary interesting...unit.

Stormtroopers with weaker rifles, weaker vs tanks, worse cloak, no schrecks.

but: can paradrop, are cheaper mp, have cheaper/slightly better mp44s (fg42)


this means they are not as tough as rangers/kch/ab but more like basic infantry.

which is worthless,unless you take medikits on them,what means,taht you paradrop close to your spawn point,worthless again...

all in all,nothing too exciting about them,all my other companys work better than falls...

tbh Luft is better with the mid t4. You only need 1-2 squads of Falls purely for covering fire. +6 pop is a game winner 9 times out of 10.

Well, unlike airborne, if you backdrop Falls, they can't hold their own against armour and infantry as a whole. Paradropping saves some time, it's also ALWAYS 30s to drop, which provides consistency, and handy support if you're lacking AI/AT on the front line on a large map.

Nightrain posted this thread after we played a 3v3, our teammate was using falls and they were always in green cover, but all it took was one rifle squad from L or M range to pop suppression fire and negate falls entirely. Cost efficiency goes down the drain if a squad of falls doesn't even get one kill! Sprint can't even save them from suppression fire either, which sucks.

So far I've heard rumble and ramble out here.

I'd rather want to hear more tactical point of view rather than how shite or OP the unit is because clearly I'm coming with a rather...how to put it- bad impression. So far what I've seen is that Fails have always been underperforming and only fair well vs basic riflemen with no kits whatsoever. Not exactly cost effective mind you. I'd like to hear and perhaps even see most- how to put it? 'Good' Failschrimjäger usage and gameplay. If not that at least strategies other than the "Sit in cover, wait them to come" thing.

i wouldn't play luftwaffe with fallschirmjäger

i would use create veterans with g43 pgrenspam
and make sure getting henschel (and buy always extra uses) because thats an retarded op ability


if you really want to use fallschirmjäger then maybe try quick response and spam upgun hotchkiss and some fallschirmjäger with riflenades
with airborne armor they might be useful

dunno was something done to rifle nades,before they were working 'okay',very good vs spam...but last week I played 2 times with them after some time,and rifle nades seem to underperform quite a bit,also range  seems kinda shorter than before.

If u want to use falls,you will need medikits,since you dont want your 120/155mun investvent(it's handy to have fausts on them) be crippled after first fight,and quite a bit of time,you will have 3-4 men but with like 10% health,and first bullet will kill guy or 2,thats why,have medikit Wink
panzerknacker is also great,but that+medikits+falls =7 points,not much left for diversity of company...

Fallshirmjaegers are not mainline infantry. STOP USING THEM AS MAINLINE INFANTRY. You stick these fuckers in green cover with vet and ambush some unsuspecting slob who runs pell-mell through the area, beelining it to the front. Then, guess what? You move to a new ambush localle. If you stay put, they KNOW YOU'RE THERE. Use Fall's ability to construct bushes to your advantage; on a hedgerow-heavy map, you can build a bunch of them out of the in-line row (ofc its obvious). Guess where the enemy player suspects you'll be? When your fire cuts out from the main line of the hedgerow and mows down his inf whilst your PzBushe and fausts rape whatever light armor he sent along for the ride, you've done your job in supremely pissing him off. Using fals is not 'zomg mainline inf with a bonus from cover'. You use them as you would a literal, real life ambush team. It requieres an ounce of real thought; if I stick them here, where can I get flanked? If I'm pushed back, wheres a good fallback ambush site. If I win, where's the next best site father foreward? Where can I hide them without being really obvious?

On another note, keep vanilla rifles 90% of the time. The bonus they get from cover more or less lets 1 guy in a squad 2-shot a rifleman; leading to unattended squads getting vaporized to the 'lolwut' of the ami/brit player. Fascist Gun (lol) 42s are for facing elite armor; they do full damage to Elite/Airborne armor, wheras Luftwaffe K98ks and Leader MP44 rifles do 75% of their damage. G43s are also nice because the acc and damage boost they get from cover bonuses finally turns them into rape machines--and nothing is better than keeping your enemy slowed whilst you ambush-bonus-rape him. K98s and MP44(leader)s will re-cloak before their next shot; FG42s dont have that luxury. I think the bonus also applies to PzBusche and possibly to the Panzerfaust, so keep those in mind too. More or less use globs of easily killed, but easily spammed shitty Luftwaffe inrantry to lure enemy blobs into a well-placed ambush.

Ok with crete vets u can use them like storms. Cripple tanks with faust outta cloak. Get henshel run as panic button.
Im just trying to pile up some pps to get falls tankbusters. I think theyre pretty good but also damn expensive especially with 60 mp vet seargent.
And btw volksy, utter bullshit, this is my infantry! Get at least 12 squads And two groundforce squads to steal stuff rest is marders 50 mills and mortar halftracks and acs and upgungun hotches and scout cars and kettens............. Combined arms FUCK YEAH

I do like to see Volks demonstration of how to use Failschrimjägers to their fullest. Whenever I see them I go "field day!" and simply and outright destroy them. So practically you are reviewing what others has already told. Therefore I see them to be nothing outta the ordinary and feel like Assault grens with medkits would be two times worth the investment than fails themselves. mmk

i honestly love falls but imo, its all about finding your build for them, becuase in all honesty if you wanna use them. you gotta put money and doctrine stuff into them to really become usefull.

ROFL falls are not OP at all, they have super low health can can be beaten, just rush the fuck out of them, they rape at range, but in close they get owned by anything short of rangers or BARs
