Hooo boy, you need to watch what happens when any PzGren squad (Apart from Assault Grens) makes the mistake of getting medium to close range to a BAR squad. Messy encounter ensures.

They arent half bad against WM Grens if you can find them some cover, and they make a total mess of Volks assuming they arent in your face with MP40's.

And that's what makes the difference. WM Grens return fire is enough to spoil your day, PzGren return fire isn't, unless it's a G43 package and you have no cover.

Well the question remains, why do we want to see huge masses of upgraded infantry? I already seem to miss vanilla infantry battling it out.

Limits on infantry,    people equip whole army with upgraded stuff because it's usualy 14 inf , 2 rows in launcher.

In the past there were around 40 inf squads  half of them not upgraded because you couldn't afford so much munition  so the rest was non upgraded.

So you don't see vanilla grens and rifles battling it out because  having those additional 20 inf squads would cost pp from oversupply.

(and there was more manpower i think aswell, so you were able to have alot more inf than currently)

yea it used to be 10000 mp as a base, not 8000 I believe.
