if you ever played with KT and Tigers than you should know that the KT hit shit fighting infantry it completely missed like when the gunner is drunk or something

True...so far, all I see with this mod are people who play their game and people who constantly cry about shit. On infantry is too strong, oh, KT is too strong, oh BARs are too cheap, &c.

And even though the mod has nothing to do with reality, the units are based on real historical units which means they follow certain features typical for those units...which in case of KT means impenetrable armor, oversized but accurate cannon and decent speed for its weight

Hey....I read the headline of this topic and im going like...whaaaat? You mad bro?

Check out the real data on WW2 and Tiger/KT and you will see that they arent OP...they are like they were in Real world...To take out a tiger, one needs on average 5 shermen tank. Infantry AT weapons are completely useless, unless they just rip its threads to shreds.

In one of the battles preceeding Caen, British column was ambushed by a tiger and in 20 minutes the column was a smoking heap of twisted metal. I think there might have even been a mission about this in one of the old Call of Duties.

Its all about class me thinks. Tiger is a heavy tank, King Tiger super heavy tank so obviously, they are tough to beat...

and note I say this as US AB doctrine which means that I have not the best chance of actually defeating KT on my own.

the KT gun is awful against infantry or AT guns

if you think it has a better gun we should test the KT with tiger gun for a week Cool

what. bringing inf or ATG near a KT or tiger is suicide. i wont even bring rangers unless flanking. they get owned.

it does miss alot, vs atg. unlike the tiger in also doesn't clean up the whole crew in one shot...
though i do remeber back when u could have 2 KT there accuracy vs ATG was really high and would alwats 2 shot the gun.

Yea man, I hear ya' was chasing a wounded KT yesterday with 3 glider rifles squads...none of them made it out alive...Or rather...KT killed 3-4 in each squad, the rest died unfortunate deaths on retreat.

OT question...whats the average age of people here?

that was my kt and they managed to chase me all the way to spawn from the middle of the map and still managed to sticky me cause i ran out of places to run 2...i mean sure i killed maybe 10men lol. and rolling thunder bonus supression did jack all, i thought it was meant to make that mg acually do something.

It was a fun chase...I was sad that my poor vet1 Glider Rifles ran into some German infantry on their way home...I think only one of those squads actually made it back. Good times. Was your KT Vet2?

A single firefly with a cct isn't 90% of your forces. And its not that hard to do with proper support.

Trust me this isn't meant to be insulting. But its more of a matter of not knowing what you are doing. KT's can be very powerful when supported, so can tigers. Thier counters can be just as powerful when supported. This is why its a team game, the best skill AND teamwork allways wins.

100+ games with every good player out there in EIR. Never seen them handle a KT like a champ. Took 2-3 armies to stop it.

All of my allied companies have 2 stickies and 8-10 engineer mines, and I figure most good players will field these or AP round ATG's since the meta game has been trending towards everyone running heavies.

Spartan, it's also never just a King Tiger Wink. KT + marksman grens with pervertin is still hard, KT + heavy support mg's, paks and mortars is still tough!

In me saying that, I haven't played against a decent KT company in ages, so i'm not sure exactly how hard it is to counter currently!
