Just going by what you have heard from me and the other devs around here, what are your individual expectations of what the warmap is going to be like? What do you think you will see and how will it function?
Be detailed, im curious to see what kind of expectations the community for the warmap

The reemergence of attack/defend mode, finished doctrines, and a system in place to curb the ridiculous spam most companies operate with in the current meta game. Also, the return of the post battle news announcement somewhere in the launcher that tells - in dramatic fashion - who fought and who won in the most recent battle. I am very excited for this  |

+1 also, i was always thinking it will be something along the lines of close combat (starting from close combat 4 , cause earlier ones did not have it) warmap atleast.  also cc4 had some nifty battalion screen, maybe something also to look at for ideas   Generaly if you are looking for 'inspirations' for looks, i suggest going through older close combats and looking at it for shiny things because imo it has everything nailed down.     |

I thought they would be using the Axis and Allies Map, and if not, Probably the best map game map they could use unless they make their own ^^ (Best image I could find of it)  Looks cleaner and less cluttery |

Nug is correct, we're just using a map of France to start with. (I.E D-day and beyond) That's not to say it can't be expanded upon.

I expect it to cure cancer and make Chuck Norris himself cry tears of joy. Which is I presume is how it will cure cancer in the first place.
Though seriously, I actually have no expectations considering how long it's been in the works. In my opinion, whatever crops up will be a nice surprise - Not a dig at devs, it's just my personal expectations as of now. I know you've been working your arses off and fair play to ya. >.>

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.
