I've tried the karabiner, it's good, but it's also a nerf in some sense.
Normal sniper kills with every hit.Karabiner sometimes deals half crit without a kill and the suppression does not kick in.

imo would be the best if karabiner always killed with 1 like normal sniper, but only do half crit and not kill 1 guy on the suppression hit.

It's a t3 so imo it should not have penalising features which a half crit without suppression enabling is.

or:

leave him as he is but maybe he should always stay cloaked even on fire ? - this would go good with the no firing indication.

Snipers still don't kill with damage. They kill with Crits. Karabiner reduces these critical shots by 50% there fore you have 50% chance to kill something with it.

Ok ok , but the fact is that normal sniper always kills with 1 hit  but the karabiner not.

My point is that it is ok when karabiner does not kill guy when suppression activates, but it is not ok when he does not kill guy and the suppression does not activate.

So maybe 100% crit , and 50% chance suppression and then half crit with it.

try to kill someone in house, lol

for a t3 I am not impressed,I can just do more with normal sniper, and when someone says, you can stop flanking rifles etc, yes,I can do that also with 3pop mg,which will stop entire flank...and when focus fire is back in,I will also kill them in matter of 'seconds' after first suppression salvo.

What a fucking stupid idea, it's hard enough to find Terror Snipers as it is, they don't even leave a smoke trail, and now you want to make it so they stay cloaked when firing too? wtf Nug you seriously come up with the gayest shit.

Nug has a point. Not about the always invisible sniper - that's crazy shit, but about the T3 being underwhelming. Very often (usually against the brits) the sniper wouldn't kill OR suppress. A sniper that can't do those two things reliably is a dead sniper (since it's not as hard to find the thing as some people claim). I was so unimpressed with the sniper that I turned the two I had in and exchanged them for volks/MGs and a handful of more marksman grens which have an easier time killing things and aren't such a risky investment.

I think there is a bug vs brits , because i never managed to suppress even 1 squad in whole game and sometimes it makes even no damage with a few shots in row.

The shot does not cause enough supression to make the tommies crawl. They have higher supression resistance than rifles

Nobody forces you, it costs nothing in terms of resources. He still one shots low health tommies 100% of the time. You might get them supressed if you have an lmg firing on them. Incase you face brits you could have one with it and one without a karabiner, it's up to you. Besides that's not all the T3 gives you

Shouldn't then it make enough suppression to suppress tommies and other brit squads ?    It's a t3 and without this you are left with only  no indication and no icon  with a half kill  so realy a normal sniper is better at this point, as like Malgoroth said sniper that cannot kill or suppress is not worth especialy a t3 and the no indication does not up his survivability dramaticaly because he can still be seen on shot.

I think anyone would pay extra 50mu if karabiner was realy useful.

but you can fire without any indication...heck you start losin men and you don't even know you're losing them, it's a very annoying T3 and i hate facing it and there are plenty of people who run dual snipers it can be quite effective. You can kill support weapons without crits though, and those should be your main targets anyway.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

it's main targets should be anything assualting... u use it to supress squads, if i wanted to kill support weapons i would keep the normal sniper.

why wouldnt I then use just mg's?

2 mg's 40manpower more,120 mun less,1 pop less, cant be killed be jeeps, can cover very large area  Roll Eyes

I'm a decent player. What happens is it can sneak in there and shoot at you and sometimes it takes a while to realize it's the Karb because it jsut says you're under attack. i played one game on axis and the allied player was goin crazy the whole game thinking it was kch suppressing his squads lol and he was a decent player.

so if it's alone, yeah they'll figure out it's a karb but if you have it along with other infantry it's not so obvious unless you hear the pop, which only happens if he's on screen or you see him.

Speaking of which.
