I'd personally say the Jagd is the best of the heavies/superheavies.

* Amazing speed
* Amazing health
* Amazing armour
* Amazing damage
* Amazing penetration
* Amazing maneouvrability
* Good Accuracy
* Relatively inexpensive for what it can do.

I really never understood the reason why it actually costs less than a KT being so much better.

It might just be me that was lucky, but last time I played vs a jagd I threw a sticky at it and it got engine destroyed despite not being in critical health!

Demon posession is real and it's not funny, it's the creepiest thing you will ever experience.

I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.

Engine destroyed by sticky can happen to any tank under 40% health, Sach.

i remember i think in a patch they gave the jadg heroic criticals back which mean they can have that happen at full health or even immobolized.

Stickies should only rip off the tires in my opinion

but to keep ontopic, I would say that "heavies/superheavies" ain't noob at all. The noobs should be the ones who blame "supertank"-users and lack of skills killing them.  Wink

This topic is useless.

I agree with Mysthalin. However, this tank can not be classified as a heavy as it is a super heavy and on top of it it is a assault gun.

jagd can be countered really easy imho

but i have to laugh always when i see elitegren using his jagd unsupported behind enemy lines close range charging everything Cheesy

yeah its like awesome stug but without its awesome top mg

according the size differences the jagd top/back MG must be something between AC 20mm autocannon and the Ostwind Flak Gun  Grin Tongue

i remember i think in a patch they gave the jadg heroic criticals back which mean they can have that happen at full health or even immobolized.

exactly only the one T3 (Zimmerit) can change that back afaik

Except that that's a lie. Heroic tank criticals actually helps you against stickies in giving you a 25% chance to not get engine damage at green health, while giving you the 25% chance to get immobilized by a mine at green health.

Except that isnt the full picture.

ATG's have higher chance of engine damage vs elite crit and most likely other weapons do too, havnt checked yet Tongue

So elite armour has more drawbacks then it has bonuses.

25 percent chance to inflict engine damage from the front on yellow health (below 40%) tanks with the critical type, afaik. That's also the only thing I had missed out on mentioning - thanks for reminding me.

I love zimmerit. Usually don't get damaged engine until I'm in red HP. The 3 times I got stickied I didn't get a damaged engine either.

Do you guys know what zimmerit was IRL btw?

Hint: it didn't improve the armour nor was it meant to...

Thats totally irrelevent in EiR.

As long as it sounds somewhat plausable it fits. Hell they could name it copper plating or reactive armour or some other shit and it would have no effect on it at all.

But seriously I think zimmerit isnt a good one at all.

Good players don't get stickied anyway, but your at a disadvantage vs atgs (Likely to get hit by) and possibly other weapons too.

And a little bit more ontopic...

Yes I believe jagdpanther is still proboly best heavy tank.

But it comes down to how you use it. Like every other unit in the game a retarded stepchild who rushes his jagd gets a dead jagd in return.

(Btw I luv my jagdpanther/jagdtiger combo Cheesy)

Hint, it prevented magnetic mines and other devices being attached to the tank. Abstract that idea to negate homing missile stickies.
