With the vet requirements so high and I know that there's a new vet draft coming, will we see stronger vet?
It just seems like it's not worth it anymore to even care about your vet, even artillery isn't all that great to vet anymore without the cooldowns

They do walk in cloak. Do you mean jog? The only infantry speeds are walk, jog, or sprint.

I don't see why the vet wouldn't be worth it, it still gives you a significant combat boost and all you have to do is keep a unit alive (which for infantry is considerably easy). With the vet rework, a vet 5 unit will not be significantly stronger than a vet 3 currently, we are looking at giving each unit a unique 'utility' type bonus on top of the original buffs however. (And perhaps a new skin at vet 5 or a custom name, who knows)

well it just seems that with it taking 50% more to vet (basing off the fact vet 3 rifles used to be 50 and now 100) vet 3 units will be more rare, which i agree is nice but in some cases it's just not worth it, especially since they'll be the first thing targeted even if they're behind a big blog of infantry (basing this off a vet 2 rifle with 3 guys being targeted rather than the 4 vanilla rifles in front of it)
but i guess we'll see when the rework is in eh?

The vet tables are high now, but I think if the current tables were split up into 5 increments rather than the 3, it would seem quite obtainable to get vet 1-3 in a few games for any given unit, vet 4 will still be hard to get, and vet 5 will be for the true masters of their units (or people who always stomp together)

Each unit has individual modifiers, making them gain faster or slower depending on how easy it is for them to vet.
So no, it'll be obtainable by any unit really, because units have their vet requirements tailored to their individual performance.

ya since back line units will be the easiest to survive and vet. Imagine vet 5 howis, hummels and other arty with massive cooldowns? Or vet 5 snipers and mortars. None of that sounds fun at all.

So does that mean we could expect a entirely new vet system in the future for the most part?

So are veteran levels 4 and 5 being implemented immediately with the new veterancy draft, or will they come later?

The vet rework is one big rework that will introduce a rework of all the vet bonuses, as well as the introduction of vet 4 and vet 5. It's not something that will happen in the foreseeable future however, unless in the event of some sort of coding miracle. Our current priority, as you all probably know, is the implementation of the remaining doctrines, and introduction of the warmap..
