I would proceed to support him so i am not able to say "its his fault that he got all his units killed throughout the game", only a noob would let your team mate faulter so badly. and if he is attacking fanatically i would also join him in his fanatic offensive. Its fun. I also find people self centered if they cant accept a way someone plays, sure they dont play like you do, but if they are loosing units because you are not playing the team game, you're more at fault then the person you are accusing.

As i said, its a team game, if you lose, the whole team as a whole is to blame. no one is stopping you from balancing out your team mates company choice, nor is it his fault that he wants to attack so fanaitically when you're sitting back like a british cunt general sipping your delicate tea watching fucking aussies being butched on the hill 200 metres from the british command post.

If your team mate brings out 3 howi's without your knowledge, what you DONT do is bitch and whine to the player that it was a bad decision. The fact is, it happen, what you do is adapt, and how do you adapt when your team mate brings 3 howi's on the field? you start playing a defensive game where you force the enemy to sit and camp while your team mates pick at the enemy defences.

Any strat, idiot or stupid, can catch players off guard and win the game.

I guess I'll start of with a little anecdote. When I first started playing EiRR, I was getting stomped nearly every game and there was a reason for it. One of the very first games I was playing I brought out two fireflies when it wasn't necessary. Instead of continuing to play, one of the players instantly retreated all of his units and proceeded to bitch me out. Rather than explaining to me what I did wrong, he refused to play altogether. It was a 3v3, so the other player on our team was kind enough to tell me what was wrong with what I was doing. Several weeks later I started to stomp the player who bitched me out at every chance I got (sadly he's rarely online anymore). I consider that event to be the point in which I started improving.

Bottom line is to tell the newbie what he's doing wrong and explain whats wrong with it. If he doesn't listen or becomes hostile, then it's your call on how you want to treat him. I know for a fact that the player with the three howies has done this before, but whether someone has told him why it was a bad idea to bring on 3 howies is something that I don't know. In the end, the worst player is the one who refuses to learn from their mistake and if he's adamant in playing his way, that doesn't mean you have to play with him.

This is not newbie behaviour though. The guy has said on ventrilo that he brings ridicolous companies to "counter smurfs". And then ingame he proceeds to spam m8s or howitzers (I was in a game with him and tank130 where this guy had 3 howitzers out with like 3 kills between them)

On the strat itself, 1 howie is plenty. As long as you know exactly when and where to shoot it, it can be just as devastating as 3 howies mindlessly spamming shells into the FoW.

I remember a game where AmPM called out nothing but 25lbrs at the start. We proceeded to roll the other team with the constant arty support.
