I know for a fact there is much more to discuss about balancing snipers then the one thing I'm going to bring up. So I think it would be great is someone posted sniper stats, I can't figure out to do that mumbo jumbo!
My biggest question is whats the difference between these guns? rof? set up time? accuracy, ect.

Sniper:
MP: 540
MU: 200
Pool: 15

AB Sniper T2:
MP: 540
MU: 200
Pool: 18

Commando Sniper T3:
MP: 540
MU: 220
Pool: 15

WM Sniper/Terror Sniper T3:

Now I have to say this, why is commando sniper only 20mu more than AB sniper, and less pool cost? It's a far far superior platform. It's the best sniper in the game, on top of having I'd say a 90% chance to retain vet.

AB sniper pool cost needs to be lowered 16 would be helpful - It's ridiculous, as AB you run into your reserves if you buy more than 3-4 tanks, they don't need their support pool raped as well and no reason it should be more than the commando sniper.

US sniper pool cost should be 14 - 15 is just a tad too much, though I assume its because allied mgs have lower pool cost, not a huge issue.

Commando sniper ought to be 18 pool cost, or increase the pop to 8, or increase the MP cost a little. These units in the right, heck even the not so great hands are monsters. And tough as nails to kill, the only sniper you have to bring all sorts of shit (rather than just some bikes or jeeps) to kill.

I won't say too much about terror sniper, because I believe it's already been mentioned it will be changed to a separate unit soon, which I can only assume will have a slightly higher pool/mp/mu cost.



Also what's up with "1.2 more damage" with vet? Does that allow you to kill a KCH with a vet 3? Pointless.

** On a total side note, I saw these "Conceal Radius -1" and "Run at normal speed while camouflaged" which seem like they should be thrown in as buffs in doctrines for cloaked units.

Its the doctrine abilities that make the commando sniper really great, I wouldn't say he's superior to the wehr sniper without his magic support.

AB Sniper has elite armor and fire up- it also has heroic criticals which means 1 sniper shot can not kill him (unless this has been changed). Therefore it is superior to the other snipers.

AB sniper is easily countersniped I think. Why give a SNIPER heroic crits, thats just broken (or nearly so).

If you keep thinking of a commando sniper as a sniper, then thats why you get owned.

He has a little smoke, but otherwise cannot cloak, so do what you can't do with other snipers find it and kill it with a tank

Well, why is AB sniper such high pool cost? That was probably my truest question in all this.

Becuase he gets fireup as a sniper. Simple answer

('Real' sniper, not counting the commando sniper since it's quite a different unit)
