I was thinkin maybe airborne could have the ability to have a recon run go across the screen and all the enemies cameras are locked on to the plane for the duration of the flight, would help with hit and run tactics for ab cos enemies cant do anything, only via minimap and tactical map. TROLLOLOLOLOL

Well you could allways just make a Dummy unit that as soon as drops would Die but could be tied in a "Deceptive Tactics" Doctrine ability that would give diffrent cheap and usefull abilitys to Deceve your enemy.

what i think would be cool is AB squads that drop, each man has 10 health, do no damage, and are immobile. that would be the perfect dummy set up. they used them quite a bit. make them take 2 pop. you could have all these fake ab, with cloaked ab near them. ooh that would be awesome.

It was implimented in CoHO and was one of the most underused abilities in the entire game. Even with command tree upgrades improving the # of dummies, reducing the price and time needed for them to drop in, price drops, and the ability to explode when fired on or when they hit the ground (stun effect, no damage whatsoever), it was a woefull waste of 50mp. Id rather reinforce 2 riflemen to a squad then use that useless crap.

It was actually a Broken ability in CoH:o because of the massive Debuffs it applied. It just got no love because the FREE Smoke anywhere at lvl 0 was more stupidly broken then anything else. Also Defensive was quite possibly the strongest 1vs1 Doctrine in that game(After they fixed the AB Smoke shit) Killing volks grens off earned you more manpower then the reinforcements cost and Munitions and Fuel. It was a Tier 1 Wet dream that rolled into a 2CP Base camp 88.

What you just mentioned was Flares from blitz (broken) and Refund from Defensive (broken as fuck). Only broken shit with AB was strafe which was complete BS.

Defensive Contracted Pioneers + upgrades, Refun + upgrades, and the frigging lolwtf 88s was just gay. Even worse? Terror. KT was so outlandishly OP, same for the Firestorm.

Blitz Flares nullified an entire unit, the sniper, and coupled with fully upgraded rocket arty was just flare enemy base + drop a NINETY MUNITIONS arty that = defensive arty x4 (3 "aftershocks" which dropped additional rockets, plus accuracy modifiers that made pretty much every single rocket instagib whatever it hit, no matter what it was). CoHO was completely and utterly retarded, the most broken shit being inf camo, ab strafe, blitz flares, and terror in general. And the fact that american heroes didnt progress well into lategame, wheras the comparitevely cheaper and more effective (and healthy) WM heroes did--nothing gayer then Close Combat volks, bargain volks, and venerable volks >>> buffed grenspam.

The items were even more retarded (Ami riflemen health tier 3 card = 9% less received damage. WM Volks health t3 card = +24% health. Which would you fucking choose? (WM cards were cheaper).

I plead everyone else to go back on topic. CoHO was retarded, the end.

yea false.  AB had free smoke, which was total horseshit...get some flamers and ab and rofl all the way to the bank.  Terror was a joke, worst doctrine in the game.  Inf doc had a million OP things, and Armor doc was what everyone that was actually legit good played.  It was pretty clear that Americans were OP in COH:O, but don't let me get in the way of your fanboiism.
