1) Assault nades deal too much damage: 1 nade hitting = half rifle squad HP gone. They also throw too many. One Grenadier squad throws 6+ nades. That is too many.

2) Officer supervision: 2 fausts from Officer supervised Volks took 90% HP Firefly down to 10%. The damage bonus should be removed or, at the very least, toned down considerably.

I want to make a suggestion that Assault Grenades cause either damage, or suppression, but not both.

1. I also believe assault is a little too much, but your 1 assault nade = half of rifle squad gone is although possible, very unlikely.

I just think the dmg should be toned down a bit.

2. I think devs said something may be done about surpervision, but dont quote me on this

It's not unusual for one grenade to hit the squad dead on, and when it does, half health gone. Ask panda.

I also have to agree that officer supervision is a bit high. Personally i thinkyou went against someone with the dual t3 where u get a 10% bonus on top of the normal supervision, so that's about 30% dmg and acc so that's 390 damage right off the top on two hits from schreck

it rules ^_^ thats my defensive company. but it does need to be changed or toned down.

also i agree with the assault thing, its ridiculous. if anything they should get NO buffs or some kind of exhaustion afterwards. i dont see why heroic charge and fire up get so many debuffs after, but assault gets buff and no debuff.

assault and sprint get no debuffs. maybe they get no debuffs cuz u pay for them? i dunno...but still i'd rather pay for assault and sprint than get the exhaustion with fire up and heroic charge

you probably mixing up nuklear bombs of us with the potatostomper lol firecracker nades of wehrmacht

and the suppression comes from suppression of the grenades itsself (as all grenades have suppression) and assault got already nerfed badly compared to vcoh

learn to pay attention and to micro ur units not stupid blobbing

hint: select targeted unit and click somewhere close to spawn on minimap and kill the nade throwing squad

Even if it was nerfed, it's still extremely cheap on grenadiers. And grenadiers are much, much better at taking fire then rifles are. With a medikit and assault you can just wade through tank, flamer and small arms fire. Hell even snipers will miss you sometimes with the right doctrine choice during the ability. When a rifle has used up its "nuclear" pineapple, its a rifle, probably half dead with little regular firepower to begin with and no medikit. Grens are grens, the best basic inf in the game with medikits.

What is the assault received accuracy at right now? 0.75? Thats buff encroaching on T4 material, actually that isn't too bad of a comparison.

it's .5 received accuracy AND .75 received damage.
it's a leftover from vcoh. We never changed it.

maybe cuz you dont control your units when you use assualt  Roll Eyes

assualt is only effective when you are very close to enemy,and pop it,if you are away,it's rly easy to dodge it,smokaz even you guys yesterday managed to dodge quite a bit of my assualt.


also 1 pineaple grenade kills 3-4 volks usually,witohouth a problem,should they be toned down then?

50-60 mun is not cheap

i tried such company long time ago (24 grens with assault 2 tiger 3 paks and a stug)

against good players who don't blob like crazy you will just keep suiciding units without gaining much

i killed more with that same company with zero assault but medkits and some lmgs

you have to keep in mind that you completely loose control about your units or you waste your munitions

in most cases this 4 men gren squad will die that means no vet which is powerful in eir (vet1 15% less received damage + vet2 15% more accuracy + vet3 20% more damage and 10% more health)

this company only does good with joint ops


but feel free to make such company

Keep a cromwell on if you're fighting an assault company. When the ability is active, the grens/volks will run STRAIGHT into your treads if you path towards them. It's SO easy to crush assault nading infantry.
