ok,can someone explain to me how to use it?!

first of all,m8 can penetrate it from front withouth problem but he deflects atg shots,wtf
does he have some bonus eng dmg rules,since I had 3 stickies on hetzers ,2x imobilized,3rd engine destroyed(not dmg)
God forbid enemy has pershing,because even with apcr you basically do jack shit to it...
only tank that I see gets barrel dmg,wtf is that?!

Ok,he snipes inf quite well,and deflects shoots quite well,right now I only see him good at taking punishment and fighting against inf more or less,against tanks he is so mediocre with apcr  Roll Eyes

maybe if I team him up with marder? cuz pure hetzers seem kinda like fail  Roll Eyes

if the range bug is fixed (if it really exists) and you keep line of sight and can keep backing up

when hetzer gets into pathing problems or it need to fight in pershing range it will be fucked due to its low health

I consider a 210 F unit that only gets penetrated by pershings less than 1/2 AND outranges it by a whopping 10 range to be pretty fucking terrific. Yea, they're probably not going to kill your pershing but you can't do much vs hetzers as a pershing user, unless you're going to rush in to try and kill it, which is generally a bad idea.

I mean, it's one of the toughest units to penetrate with a Pershing.

Use long range, always kite, never let anything get behind your hetzer, use 2x schreck in HT to back it up when facing tanks.

The only time i use hetzers anymore is to snipe inf and to deal the killing blow to tanks when i have APCR but tbh i stopped using it after i saw how often APCR hetzers bounced off front armor on sherms.

Hetzer + Light ATHT. Solves Circle strafe issues and Snipes infantry squads with ease.

I do wish the Ambush bonus were better though. I like to place an emphasis on good gameplay.

Maybe add a little higher crit chances from ambush? Not from frontal armor though, that's too easy, maybe just for rear shots

Edit: also for hellcat, stug ambush etc

Yeah the Idea would be to improve Ambush for alot of things. It would most likely fall in the form of Accuracy and Penetration because once you start dealing with Damage modifiers on Tanks things can get crazy.

Ugh, no stunning. regardless of how valuable or boost inducing. we're tyring to get ride of crap like that.

When I run hetzers I frequently have 2-3 on field at once. I'd just try and stun lock something.

TBH, if you want to devote 30pop to stun locking a tank, go ahead, I can promise it has at least 2 ATGs backing it up.

Yea, but you can only do so much in the system and have it not be a "magic" ability.

Removing all said abilities will reduce tactics and micro.

In fact, getting bonuses for good play and such should be what the game is about, not passive blanket buffs and such. Now, I am all for some passive buffs, but I do love me some good old fashioned ambushes.

hetzers are great, it was my favorite unit from PE, they are great vs infantry, good against light vehicles, and so-so against tanks. its a good all around unit to have hanging out. its one of those units that you wont really notice, but you'll miss it when it's gone.
