Goals so far:

- Incorporating a river without retardifying the gameplay
- No hedges
- I want a hill somewhere
- Shotblockers for mortars compensating for good positions on one side

a lot of the maps in eirr are overly complicated, I'm just trying to make a slightly more interesting map than tanteville, bocage or neuville

I read this, then saw your first screenshot. Err.

Rofl, most maps have a selling point even if they are simple and straight forward.

Tanteville - nice little city even though the rest is just.. plain stuff?
Neuville: the chataeu in the mid, the rest is just classic coh stuff.
Bocage.. a chateau, some crappy house on the right and a builidng in the middle
