WUT! Treadbreak is one of my most favorite abilities! It comes at a high price ofcourse, but if you get him to vet 3 by eating infantry, you will be able to treakbreak shitloads of tanks in just 1 game with a 3 pop unit.

they are on the list of units to try because i never used one after latest vcoh patch

but they probably fail for my companies without hvap and vs. pe i use atgs and m10s or m8

i think US mortars are the utmost piece of shit ever. Even with lock n load upgrade. I think bc their damage is too low or splash is to low to be of any use.

Frankly, I think that the american support weapons aside from the ATG are utter shite compared to their WM counterparts. Yeeeeees, WM is designed as a faction to rely on theirs, ofc theyd be good, but the units were made for vcoh, where flanking was much more possible and easy then it is in EiR. More or less, when the map grinds into an mg and mortar war, WM always wins, period. Their mortar and MG outrange and out-effect their allied counterparts, and you cant flank them to take them out or outright destroy them from the front unless you break out doctrinal heavy arty.

Pop limitations = harder for allies to win via quantity unless they spam one unit type (which can be countered), ergo, its not like vcoh where you can crank out 4-5 rifles and overrun wehr. Because the numbers of squads/tanks are relatively equal on field at the same time, WM and PEs superior infantry and armor (barring the BAR and the sherman jumbo, respectively) have the Axis units winning more often then not--they were made to win in a 1v1 slugfest compared to allied versions of that unit.

You are just doing it wrong!

Trust me, i played only axis first 1.5 years of EiR, then when i switched, i tried playing allies as I would play as Axis, and that is the largest reason for me failing at that time, I was too colored by playing axis, specifically PE, for so long that I did not really know how to play.

You have to redo everything and do things you are not used to, be prepared to loose a couple of hundred games, it gets better ^^

I meant that, you so rarely see allied MGs or mortars compared to WM ones--since they dont quite rape as much face.

Allies arent underpowered, they have their niche. But it seems in the current meta, axis rapes the majority of the time.

but how many support weapons do you use other than atgs?


i like allied mg, it's cheap, and i can kill light vehicles with it. i feel like ap rounds on them should come down in price though since many many times ill bring out an mg and not see one light vehicle. price should be brought down and you should get 2 uses rather than 3 (it is 3 uses right? an mg will rarely survive long enough to kill 3 different LVs).

allied mortar is tricky, axis mortar you can just sit there and lob and kill stuff super easy. as allies you need to barrage, move, barrage, move, allied mg and mortar i believe should have a slightly quicker pack up/set up time than they do now just to make them a little different.

Hrmmm, no i dont think id agree with the faster deployment on mgs, but on mortars sure that seems fair, but the mg is sooo cheap compared to the axis one imo at least, so its way way easier to have many more, i have at least 2-3 in all my coys ^^
