if you want to price it like a lmg42 then it should perform like one maybe?

you speak of a major price decrease - what is that in numbers? currently a bren upgrade is 90 mun....lmg42 is 15 mun less....i think major price decrease is something in that area?

you neglect the fact that the 90 mun is because of the OLD button, now there is no button it needs the decrease to match the nerf

Wasn't it nerfed in the first place, because it was too good for 90 MU??? So now it's good for its price

without any button ability it would have been just a bargain at 90mun for two bren lmg

C'mon BigDick, you know better, you speak about the Bren LMG like if it had the same DPS as a LMG42.

A single bren gun actually has MORE dps at long range.

oh god... yeah, if you don't mind the fact it would take it about 2 years to kill something at long range.

Well as it is, button now only lightly tickles tanks instead of actually doing something to them. I really don't see what was wrong with the original button, all it took was keeping your tank just out of their range to destroy the Bren squad. Coupled with the fact that infantry are incredibly easy to neutralize in EiR, it really didn't need a nerf in my opinion.

Alas, whiners will be whiners. God forbid you actually had to put some effort into winning.

the usual fighting range of lmgs that can't fire on the move is long and maybe medium range....(except vs some noobs who are stupid enough to charge a lmg into close range)

on long range a single bren got more dps and on medium range a lmg42 got more dps than a single bren

since you get two brens for 90mun they are in no where overpriced compared to a lmg42

Allies units need to get into CQB to win, when you have a LMG42 is a win-win situation for you, you out-dps them at long (elite kar98 anyone?) and at close range.

no you don't since your 1337 karabiner does only 60% dps vs the soldier armor of the tommies

ps: im not saying that a major price increase is necessary but im saying that the claimed major price decrease because of finally rebalancing/removing a retard ability is hardly justified since the bren upgrade delivers even much more bang for the bucks than an lmg42 only dps wise

For me, this made the post. Brits are probably the easiest faction to play.

I was just referring in general to the endless cycle of fanboys of each faction wanting to nerf anything they feel prevents them from winning with as little effort as possible.

But you have to see it, at the same time, you are whining that the Brit IWIN button vs tanks is gone.

I'm not whining that the "IWIN" button is gone, I'm whining that it's only gone because people suck at avoiding it. It's not really that hard to avoid. Support your tanks well, reverse them when you see Brens. I exclusively use the heaviest tanks this game has to offer, and not ONCE was I the victim of a button that I thought was undeserved.

It was the single best, and cheapest way of defending territory against ANY armored vehicle. How is that not an issue?

It's so incredibly easy to use, and required little to no skill to pull off a button. I agree the current version is over nerfed slightly, but it doesn't need to go back to the base values.

The Bren is also a great weapon when you use it right, at long and medium range with an LT backing your tommy horde.

Vermillion is correct on that one, The ability is easy as hell to dodge if you aint an Newb and all of the time is that the squad is stationary so you can just run to it or trow a grenade to disable the button itself.
