Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Installed already, the days just don't go by fast enough. Loved the old ones, all the reviews say that this is as good or better at being a Deus Ex game than the first and second. Next gen gameplay + cyberpunk awesomeness!
DROOL
After this, I need to get BF:3.

I know this is blasphemy but i didnt have faith in the new Deus Ex.
It seems to be a game that was trying to copy the creativity of the past games. And either A) dont have the creative team to capture and expand on the details that made the first game great or B) An exact copy wont work b/c its out of date.
These both are a very common problem in modern video games. And classics titles are turned to shit when they are tried to be revived.
Im hoping to see positive reviews come in from non-fanboys.

Like Jesus, Keeps died for us
He made a funny thread for bear, and got banned.
Now bear makes his own funny thread. It's unsurprisingly not funny.
Keeps died for our funny threads.

Can you elaborate on some of the game mechanics?
Im interested in the character development / RPG aspect (if its even there).
Pretend Ive never read a review etc (cos, I havent, but player about an hour of the first Deus Ex)

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

I'm not sure what you're so defensive about Tank.

Think first person action rpg, story is good, mechanics are great. You can play anyway you want really. I spent 2.5 hours exploring the first real level (manufacturing facility). I found a few ways to complete the level including never having to engage an enemy in combat. There are side objectives, side quests, etc.
If I wasn't at school I would be playing it right now.

I rate it as "AWESOME"
It's hard to describe, it's a great game so far.
Atmosphere is great, color selection and look firmly places it in a gritty cyber punk genre. Music is good, fits the game. So far I haven't found anything that pulls me out of the experience. I would suggest increasing mouse sensitivity on both axis as well as rebinding "Cover" to something else if you like to use Right Mouse for Iron sights.
