Im about to buy my first rifle from the ww2 era and i need a few pointers if anyone here is good with older guns?

Anyway, these are the guns im offerd at the moment.

K 98, -dou 43- "Waffen Werke Brünn AG", the numbers does not match but with VK stamps. (this is the cheap one) The price is 1014 $

Mauser K 98, 1937. Patterned on the system sleeve. Equal numbers.
Made for Portugal, but they were never sent away. (this is the expensive one) This one cost 1 362 $

K 98, -bnz 44- "Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG". Without cleaning rod (do not think i want this one, do not want one with low quality, but then again, i might be wrong) Price: 1 135 $

K 98, -bnz 42- "Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG". Without cleaning rod. Price: 1 135 $

Mostly im in to the bnz 42 or the k98 made in 1937. I will add the pictures i got as well.

there we go, pics and price. I do know the price is high, but its kinda hard to find these guns at a lower price here in sweden. And to buy one legal from a random guy in another country seems hard. It would at least take months, many months afaik.

What currency is that price in?

Also, are you looking for authenticity or performance? There's several companies out there I know of (at least in the US) that get old mausers and turn them into absolute masterpieces.

I personally have a Yugo M48, which was made post-war in the Yugoslavian Mauser factory that the Germans built during the war, and I love it.

I bought mine for 850 euros then 200 more for shipping and some more for license etc.

Audemed, I'm looking for both. But my next rifle will probably be a springfield or a mosin nagant.

Nice, got any pics or videos of yours?

You know, you could've ordered it from USA- if lucky you could've found it with lower price. My uncle collects the standard Russian nagans, I however ain't too sure if he is selling them Grin

To buy a rifle from the states would probably mean a shitload of paperwork and a shitload of shipping costs.

Have you ever tried a mosin?

Aye, I really don' like real ones anyway. Besides it was on a visit, if I wanted to I could ask if I get to go on a shooting range with those things. But I had enough fun with assault rifles and machineguns  etc in the army :p. Nothings more fun than firing a PKM like a fuckin RAMBO

Try being English. Gun laws here are ridiculous, if you want to use firearms at a firing range, prepare for a fuck-ton of paper work and cash changing hands.

Shit, it'd probably be cheaper and much faster to get your hands on a firearm illegitimately and then have it disposed of.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Who could have guessed that buying something illegally is cheaper than buying it legit ^^

I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.
