fuck me, i've read a page full of cuntishness WHILST DRUNK and got tired and am going to bed. the only thing that calls is in the way of locking this thread through racism due to the topic title, which im tempted to do, but my racist list is limited due to its drunkardness and unwillgness to contriubute to this fail thread unless royalhants incorporates an epic trollpost to change my mind.

Idk how I'm supposed to explain the structure of the inner ear without using a picture. Maybe you should change the filter on your post-removal program from "has a picture" to "no text, only picture" or "troll picture". Seriously, a picture is oftentimes one of the most efficient ways to convey information. |

one has to be true. its just hard for me to fathom something creating itself. either god always existed or the universe always existed and we know scientifically the universe came from something.
That would be the fundamental difference between science and religion. Science doesn't fill the gaps in its knowledge by saying "It must be god then". It develops theories that can change with the advent of new information and isn't afraid to say "we don't know yet". It will freely admit when it was wrong... Something which religion will never do. "It doesn't make sense that the universe created itself. Therefore it must have been created by a god who created himself". "We have a theory to explain the the origin of the universe, but we could be wrong. It's the best we can come up with so far and it fits within the knowledge we have available". Which sounds more reasonable? Trying to get a person to admit their religion is wrong is a very steep uphill battle though. No amount of verifiable data will convince them they were mistaken. The corner stone of every religion is 'faith' after all. |
