No because they smoke pot and are too lazy to do anything.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

also i think all the pot stuff is just stupid, there's so much pro pot propaganda, and so much anti pot propaganda that it's not worth looking into because there's so much BS you have to sift through. it has some good qualities, but also bad ones, like with almost any medicine, even tylonal messes with your liver and such.

either way it's scary knowing that this BS bill will probably pass.

well,THC doesn't cause cancer! and it's banned cuz of that. Depends how you smoke it and what you use for that(tobacco for example) you can get cancer, but THC has actually anti tumor properties.

Opium is used as a medicinal all over the world. Doesn't make it good for you. Pot has it's uses, still not good for you. If tobacco and alcohol were not as entrenched in our societies as they are they probably wouldn't be legal either.

See what happens when you put one unconstitutional health care bill in you get even more unconstitutional bullshit shoved down your throat. That's why you can't let them do this crap because soon enough we'll have no rights at all.

The supreme court hasn't ruled on the constitutionality of the health care bill yet. But I agree with your apparent sentiment that the health care bill is bullshit. We should have just gotten universal health coverage and called it a day, but nooooo.... Filthy republicans bitched and whined and spineless democrats acquiesced so we got this pathetic, watered down load of half-assed horse crap.

As to whether or not the constitutional ambiguity of the health care overhaul bill led directly to this... that seems like quite a wide stretch. These two bills have wide bi-partisan support and were heavily lobbied for by various entertainment industry entities. The core of congressional support for this bill is motivated by money. The very thing the OWS protesters are so upset about.

Remove money from politics and you remove one of the major factors as to why our constitutional republic doesn't work.

but then again,if someone wants to 'poison'  himself that way,who is to say,no,you cant do that, that's illegal...go jump of the bridge, that's legal,no one is gonna put you in jail for that.

I'm pretty sure jumping off a bridge is illegal.

yea well, first you give state right to decide when it is right to take your life, and when it's not. So you dont have anymore even the choice about your own life, soon state just might take more freedom's from you, which is what happened after 9/11,government created state of fear,so people actually willingly gave more of their freedom to state...quite soon, you will have very little freedom left.

It'll take another revolution of sorts for America to quit surrendering freedoms like it's the trendy thing to do. But before that can happen, people need to pull their heads out of their asses and actually start to care.

Then of course you'll have the post revolution civil war to iron out exactly what "freedom" means.

I say fuck it all and just make me emperor. I'll pull an Augustus and call the army in to line up along the senate/house chamber and dare people to challenge my laws. I will usher in a blood soaked era where 'equality of opportunity' isn't just something we claim to believe in. It's the law of the land. Anyone who doesn't like it gets the furnace. Hitler had the right idea... just the wrong target.

lol, like?

Third world countries are considered..... third world countries for a reason, or several. I mean, sure you'll find some things are better, but the overall picture pretty much always will be worse.

There's a lot of countries on the third world country list that would probably offer you a better living than the united states currently.  Obviously they're still third world countries, but that doesn't mean you can't compare them.
