I hope nobody takes offense but I changed up bastion a tad to get rid of some of the swamp. I only did some very quick changes and would definitely do more if people like it.
What I did was aimed at just opening up pathing for vehicles on the flanks a tad bit.

Congrats, you turned Bastion into a plain ol EIRR map.

The fact that it was a bottleneck is what made it awesome.

idk...

bastion just isn't bastion without the swamps.
maybe we can change the way water works in EIR so units are less affected by it instead.

one thing you should fix tho is that all of the roads should give negative cover & speed bonus (not the roads in the town tho!)

Everything Terrain should stay.

Change the Statue at the Church into a Well or something so tanks can path around it.

Also, remove the pathing issues in the town proper. Alot of the reason Bastion isn't played is because it's a death sentence for most PE companies.

last time bastion was updated I removed those cars in the town already actually so pathing isn't even that bad anymore in town.

I like the swamp and they add to it but they were a bit too much of a shut down.
So my goal was not to completely remove them but simply make it a bit easier for tanks to rumble around the sides.

I will try to fix the roads though. and spend significantly more time trying to get a good balance of bottlenecking and pathing bueno-ness.

Thats what I was thinking too.  The swamps, maybe even them out rather than remove them, add negative cover to roads(non town).

So i plan to take the original bastion fix up the roads and attempt to improve pathing around the swamps by fixing the ground around them and hopefully keep it all awesome and woohoo we love bastiony but improve it a bit so it's less of a headache for pathing.

Now to really figure out what i'm doing with worldbuilder  Cheesy
