I love this game. Just broke it out a bit to see what all my games look like with my new gfx card.

Anybody else still have this game and above all, does anyone like the grand campaign?

Still have it, still like it, shame multiplayer is a bit borked tbh.

The mod that was in the works which turned the game into the Clone-wars era finally got released btw.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Wish my PC could run it. The game is too old for my PC ^^.

I used to love the game to death, its how I discovered CoH in the first place. Empire was the shit, just spam stormtroopers until you could tech to ATATs or IFT-2s (or whatever the IFT-T knockoff tank was named). Was always sad that AT-STs sucked as much as they did...

I want to ensure we have a 100% decision on the process before we do the wipe.
If not, then I wipe, then someone gets something they shouldn't, then it gets abused, then the shit hits the fan and then I ban shab.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Was this thing ever capable of doing 1vs1vs1? There are 3 factions, but I never tried it.

Brother never plays it with me anymore cause he gets buttraped by the pirates.

Yes, you can do a 3 way FFA.

Can be quite interesting tbh. Used to love playing multiplayer on Space Skirmish, spam the crap out of Acclamators then wtf-pwn them with a tech'd up ninja Star Destroyer.

I have it. Though... I was less than impressed. Ground battles are painfully irritating and kind of stupid looking, so I always auto-resolved those. But auto-resolve sucks for keeping your dudes alive so I always ended up needing ridicu-stacks just to invade a planet. Then there was the Consortium... When a criminal organization has better starships than an imperial navy it just kills the Star Wars atmosphere. It's a shame because the space battles were that games saving grace. Watching 3 Star Destroyers jump right into the middle of a rebel fleet was some seriously epic shit and the battle chatter was cool to listen to.

The most unforgiving aspect about that game though was the RTS style galactic map. I hated it. I loathed it. It blew ass. A turn based campaign map with RTS battles (Total War style ftw) would have made that game 1000x better.
